Vets say your dog is healthy when…
This story was originally published in October 2023; please read on.
I get it; veterinarians are busy caring for all sorts of furry family members. That is why only one responded to my request for healthy dog recommendations.
?
I do not begrudge them for being busy, but I appreciate today's exceptional veterinarian, Dr. Terry Morris, for her willingness to pitch in.

About Dr. Terry Morris
?
In service to her community, Dr. Morris:
·?????? Served as a service dog training assistant for EENP to provide service dogs to assist individuals with mobility impairments and diabetes.
·?????? Is actively serving as a volunteer for CHC.
·?????? Is past Chairman of the Health Committee for DCABP
?
Beyond a deep compassion for veterans, Dr. Morris cares deeply about suffering animals at overpopulated shelters. If homes are not found, many of them are euthanized, a preventable tragedy.?

During an interview with Fox News, Dr. Heidi Cooley, a veterinarian with the Banfield Pet Hospital in Vancouver, Washington, says,
"It can help with the prevention and early diagnosis of diseases. It can also be cheaper to prevent a problem than it is to fix it. Pet owners should talk with their veterinarian about how often they should bring their pet in for comprehensive exams."
