As an accredited practice by the American Animal Hospital Association we meet or exceed the requirements which we follow all year round…not just pre-inspection. (Yes, we know they are out there). We practice high quality medicine while also helping our clients provide the best life for their pets at a reasonable price.

We have an excellent culture of teamwork mixed with a dash of fun and a few Frenchies. We are ruled by our 2 clinic cats Parker and Maddox so you will have to pass muster with them to be hired.

This is a paperless practice using Avimark so experience with the software is a plus but not necessary.

Our team is very customer service and communication focused. We never want our clients to feel we left questions unanswered or that we don't care about them or their pets. We expect this level of service from all of our team.

Our staff is cared for with health insurance, PTO, continuing education, paid holidays and we even cover your pets with pet insurance (limit 2) plus employee discounts. Salary based on experience.

Caring Hearts Animal Hospital on Stevens Mill Road in Matthews, NC is a two-doctor practice located just outside of Charlotte. Our practice is conveniently located in a beautiful neighborhood shopping center where people can (and do) walk their dogs to our practice for care. Sometimes the dogs even come alone “cause we have treats”.  We pride ourselves on our low stress handling skills. Our patients actually enjoy their visits. We are proud to be one of the only 15% of veterinary hospitals in the US that meet the AAHA accreditation requirements for excellence in veterinary care. We offer boarding and wellness plans to our clients to better serve them. For this reason, we take 30-minute appointments and take our time with our clients to fully explain the benefits of our care. We are growing because of the reputation we have built.

We expect professional demeanor and appearance, reliability, good communication skills, openness to learning new skills, belief in high quality care and someone who desires to be a part of something great. Dental and surgical skills along with the ability to monitor hospitalized patients and work exam rooms are needed. Schedule is a flexible M-F shifts with Saturdays required. Weekend kennel shifts are also required on a rotating basis. Salary based on skills and experience level.
