Veterans Leadership Network Event

Turning back at my college experience at University at Albany, I came away with many memories about events that moved me as well as a small collection of memorabilia that reminded me of my accomplishments. One of the tokens is a photo from a 2004 newspaper article that talked about Middle Earth, a peer assistance program, receiving a $850K grant to study the rapid response to drug and alcohol abuse. As a volunteer in this program, I got to meet retired Vice Admiral John Ryan, who was serving as the interim President of the university at the time.

Fast forward to 2016, here we are making more memories. Retired Vice Admiral John Ryan, currently the CEO for the Center for Creative Leadership, was so gracious and kind to accept my invitation to speak to the Veterans Leadership Network group at AIG.
