Veterans impacting kids in classrooms

As if our veterans haven't done enough! Thank you, thank you. For those retired and transitioning veterans seeking a new opportunity - one that inspires children and has impact...might I suggest Guest Teacher substituting!

Not sure if substitute teaching is right for you (earn $99/day)? We want to make it easier for you, as a tiny thanks for your service. We have free professional development for you. And...we have ways to get the certificates/cards needed for teaching reimbursed or paid in advance for veterans!

We have an amazing non-profit partner that supports veterans by providing them with funds to secure the necessary documents - an IVP Fingerprint card and Substitute Certificate in Arizona. Just email me and I will get you set up / connected!

As well, Veterans Empowered to Teach is a new personal fund raise that I started using GoFundMe. 100% of the funds received will be used to pay / reimburse veterans (and their spouses!) to get IVP Fingerprint cards and Substitute Certificates in Arizona, and 3 Year Substitute Certificates in Colorado.

So now, we are ready to move forward and get Veterans into the classrooms. Our kids yearn for interesting people in their lives. Veterans will make a huge difference...inspiring kids while they teach them subjects and share experiences. If you know a retired veteran looking for a way to give back and keep busy, please let them know about our program. Have them visit the V.E.T. webpage. If you know a transitioning veteran, please encourage them to consider substitute teaching, and/or full time teaching! There are new online certification programs - in nine (9) months one can earn a full teaching certificate if one already has a bachelors degree. And GI Bill funds can be applied.
