Today our country celebrates Veterans Day, and I wanted to send this note to you at 11 a.m. for good reason. This holiday was established on November 11 because on November 11, at 11 a.m., the major conflicts of World War I concluded.

The holiday is really quite simple. Its intent is for everyone to give thanks to all the veterans who have served our great nation. If not for our veterans’ great sacrifices while serving in our armed forces, none of us would be blessed with the freedoms we enjoy.

Please remind your families and please do something personally to recognize those who have served in order to provide the freedoms we have. Have a fantastic day and thank you to our veterans!
