David Daly - Vigilante Drones
In this episode of the VET S.O.S. Entrepreneurial Spotlight, Shawn Welsh interviews David Daly , a United States Marine Corps veteran and trailblazer in the drone industry. David shares his transition from military service to entrepreneurship, overcoming PTSD and corporate struggles during the 2008 economic downturn.
In 2017, David founded Vigilante Drones and Consulting , providing aerial photography, mapping, and disaster response services. He later launched Altitude University to train aspiring drone pilots and High Stakes University for advanced drone operations in law enforcement and emergency services.
David discusses how the COVID-19 pandemic nearly halted his business, dropping monthly revenue to $250. With resilience, he rebuilt using his MBA from the University of Redlands and support from veteran organizations like the Wounded Warrior Project , THE ROSIE NETWORK , and Work Vessels for Veterans .
Shawn and David explore drones' impact on industries like real estate and disaster response, emphasizing proper training and legal compliance.

SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
The Lead Security Administrator is responsible for the development and delivery of a comprehensive information security and privacy program for the City. The scope of this program is City wide and includes information in electronic, print and other formats.
