European deals

Munich-based healthtech startup Avelios has secured €30 million in Series A funding, led by Sequoia Capital , to further develop its hospital data operating system.

Norwegian-founded online workspace platform Tana has raised $14 million. Investors are Tola Capital , Lightspeed Venture Partners, Northzone , Alliance VC , and firstminute capital.

London-based startup IONATE has raised $17 million in a Series A. The round was led by AlbionVC , with support from strategic investors IQT and the JGC MIRAI Innovation Fund.

Berlin-based property management startup hallo theo has raised €10 million in seed funding from Insight Partners to scale its technology across Germany.

Dutch medical device startup Sirius Medical has raised €10 million led by Invest-NL and NextGen Ventures , with support from De Groot Family Office .

Helsinki-based biotech startup Aplagon has secured €7 million in funding. The investors include F?hraeus Startup & Growth and the EIC Fund.

UK cleantech startup MacroCycle Technologies has raised $6.5 million in a seed round led by Clean Energy Ventures and Volta Circle , with support from KdT Ventures and Neotribe Ventures .

Paris-based Neuralk AI , which develops an AI embedding model to improve structured data representation, has secured $4 million from Fly Ventures , StemAI, and STATION F .

Spanish KOA Biotech has secured €2 million to improve disease management in aquaculture. Swanlaab Venture Factory and Fund F are the investors.


CEE startup funding rounds

Warsaw-based startup Wealthon , which provides integrated financial solutions for small and medium-sized businesses, has raised €115.5 million in equity and debt funding. 3TS Capital Partners and affiliates of Fortress Investment Group are the investors.

Riga-founded startup Trace.Space , which develops a platform to assist engineers in creating industrial products, has secured a $4 million round led by Cherry Ventures .

Ukrainian-founded e-procurement platform Crown has raised €2 million in a pre-seed funding round led by HEARTFELT_ .? Kima Ventures , BackBone Ventures , another.vc , APOK Invest , ZAS Ventures , Prequel VC, and Bpifrance also participated.

Crown has raised €2 million in a pre-seed round.

Tallinn-based startup DriveX Technologies has raised €1.2 million to enhance its AI-powered windshield damage detection software. Funding came from Carglass’ business angels.

Lithuanian BrachyDOSE , which helps hospitals reduce radiotherapy costs and prevent radiation-induced injuries, has secured €50,000 from the Estonian Business Angels Network (EstBAN) .


New VC funds?

Berlin-based VC firm Cherry Ventures has raised $500 million for its fifth fund. The money is split between its Early Stage fund and an Opportunity fund to back companies at Series B and beyond.

Munich-based VC Hitachi Ventures , the global venture capital arm of Hitachi Group, has raised a $400 million fund to support Series A startups across various sectors.
