Verve Turns Ten

We quietly turned ten years old last week on September 25, 2019. The day we filed for The Verve Partnership LLC (Verve). LinkedIn does a nice job of reminding us, however, thought this one warranted a bit more thanks and humility with such a milestone. Thank you for all who commented on LinkedIn.

We say that starting this journey suspiciously looked like a mid-life crisis, (the year our founder turned 40 #dothemath), however we actually set out with an idea to work with people, not for them, building holistic teams of subject matter experts-#includingtheclient. Who knew that would have been such a novel and challenging idea in 2009.

Along the way, Verve has grown, shrank, evolved and learned-about all things business, design, organizational development, and when most of our peers thought we were crazy, we have applied the “SPACE|CULTURE|BRAND” dialogue and strategy to everything we touch. We have inspired many with this approach and love, love, love the outcomes-the majority of which are great relationships.

“SPACE|CULTURE|BRAND” has evolved into “PEOPLE|PURPOSE|PLACE” because design is, after all, always about PEOPLE and PURPOSE-not just design simply for design sake.

Doing great work with great people is our underlying mantra and our relationships and projects reflect that tenet. We have met so many truly amazing and supportive people this last decade; to name them all would do a disservice to the few we may forget.

There is a lot.

We look forward to continuing the evolution and sharing our walk down memory lane over the next few weeks rounding out 2019 as the best one yet.
