VERSE 2:23 OF THE QURAN IS FALSELY TRANSLATED TO MEAN “BRING A CHAPTER LIKE THIS IF YOU ARE TRUTHFUL” – SPECIAL FEATURE ON QURANIC WORD "??????"

CORRECT TRANSLATION OF VERSE 2:23 OF THE QURAN

No alt text provided for this image

The above verse 2:23 of Surah Al Baqarah of the Quran starts with the resumption particle "?" (wao) to place the statement of this verse in the continuation of the statement of preceding verse 2:22 in which the catchword of the logline "?????????? ???? ?????????? ?????" was ‘revelation’ (???????) of a ‘refreshing’, ‘revitalizing’, ‘reviving, or ‘restoring’ (?????) spirit of insight, enlightenment, knowledge and knowhow. Also, in the same verse 2:22 the earth or the body (????????) was made an executor (????????) to brush up (???), to keep clear and to organize it for real extrusion (??????????) of its benefits (???? ???? ????????????).

Therefore, in the above verse 2:23 particle "????" (inna) came in indicative mood to mean ‘that’ and ‘which’ that directly refers to the ‘revelation’ mentioned in the phrase "?????????? ???? ?????????? ?????" (wa anzala min assamái maán) of preceding verse 2:22. Hence, in reality the opening phrase "??????" (wa inna) has been used in the verse 2:23 to mean ‘and that’ which actually indicates or says ‘and that revelation’.

The next phrase "???????" (kun tum) is an idiom of "????" + "???" = "???????" (be + done), which is again connected with ‘that revelation’ (??????) as stated above and correctly means: "have been", "has been", "has been instituted" or "have been done". I have explained in my numerous articles that a perfect verb "????" (tum) derived of the root letters " ? ? ? ? ?" (Ta – Mem - Mem) makes popular Quranic idiom " ???????" (kun tum) when it comes in partnership with an imperfect verbs such as "???" (kun) which usually refers to something that has been done or made and taken to mean ‘has been’ or ‘have been’ in Arabic literature as seen in the following example sentences of Arabic language.

https://context.reverso.net/translation/arabic-english/%D9%83%D9%86%D8%AA%D9%85#have+been

No alt text provided for this image

You can see both "????" (antum) and "????" (kuntum) in the following Arabic sentences in which "????" (antum) is coming to mean ‘you’ and "????" (kuntum) is coming to mean ‘have been’. Therefore, taking Quranic idiom "????" (kuntum) in the translation of the Quran to mean ‘you’, ‘you are’, ‘you have’ or ‘you were’ is not correct.

"????? ??????? ???? ??????? ???? ????? ????"

"And the two of you have been married nearly three months".

"???? ??????? ???? ???? ?? ??? ?? ???????"

"You two have been behind everything from the start".

"???? ???? ???????? ?? ????? ???? ?????"

"You guys have been drunk for three straight days".

"???? ?? ???? ???? ?????? ????? ???? ????"

"You guys have been working together too long".

However, this Quranic idiom "???????" (kuntum) is falsely translated throughout the translation of the Quran to mean ‘you’, ‘you are’, ‘you have’ and ‘you were’. This is because at first place they falsely translated the preceding verse 2:22 to hide and distort the meaning of its key word "?????" (maá) to mean ‘water’. Whereas, Arabs including people in Saudi Arabia say "moya" to water and in writing they use the word "????" (miyah) for water which can be seen written on their water bottles, on toilets, on the official sign boards and in the advertisements of their water works, their water taps installation, repairing and plumbing companies.

Had they correctly translated Quranic word "?????" (maá), in the preceding verse 2:22, to mean a revealed ‘insight’ they would not have taken the false meaning of Quranic idiom " ???????" (kuntum) in the next verse 2:23. Hence, to hide their lie invented in the preceding verse 2:22 they invented another lie in the next verse 2:23 and spread this lie throughout the Quran using the satanic method of "?????? ????" (tasreef – e - ayat) in which they tend to take the same meaning of Quranic words in all verses of the Quran to balance their lies throughout their translation of the Quran.

This is not only strange but also quite hypocritical that native Arabs, Arabic teachers, Arabic scholars and all those who speak Arabic they know very well that they don’t use "???????" (kuntum) in Arabic language to mean ‘you’, ‘you are’, ‘you have’ and ‘you were’ but they become quiet and don’t bother to raise their voice against the dishonesty and forgery of those who fool the whole world by falsely translating Quranic idiom "???????" (kuntum) to mean ‘you’, ‘you are’, ‘you have’ and ‘you were’ !

I could not find a single evidence that Arabs have ever replaced "???????" (antum) with "???????" (kuntum) in their Arabic language or that Arabs have ever used "???????" (kuntum) instead of "???????" (antum) in the same meaning.

Preposition "???" (fi) is coming next, which is usually taken to mean ‘in’, ‘at’, ‘across’, and "???" or "???" can also come in a sentences to make something ‘able’ to or to present something in an adjective mood such as Arabic sentence "?? ??? ???" is taken as a ‘financial term’ to mean ‘Undeniable’ or ‘Uncontested’.

Whereas, "?????" (raib) means ‘doubt’, ‘suspicion’, ‘uncertainty’, ‘incredulity’, ‘fishiness’, ‘misgiving’, ‘feeling of no confidence’, ‘contest’, i.e. ‘dispute’, ‘conflict’, ‘denial’ or ‘denying’ etc.

The next phrase "???????" (mimmaa) is a combination of "???" (min) and "???" (maa) means ‘of what’, ‘of which’ and ‘whatever’, which refers to the ‘revelation’ (???????) mentioned in the preceding verse 2:22. The perfect (past) verb "???????" of forthcoming phrase "??????????" (nazzalna) is also telling us about the same ‘revelation’ which was revealed in the past and mentioned in the phrase "?????????? ???? ?????????? ?????" (wa anzala min assamái maán) of preceding verse 2:22. Whereas, suffix "???" (na) of the verb "???????" coming in the compound "??????????" (nazzalna) is a first person plural objective or possessive pronoun to mean ‘Our’ and ‘Us’. Hence, the phrase "??????????" (nazzalna) correctly means ‘Ourself revealed’ or ‘revealed by Us’. However, such Quranic compounds containing objective or possessive pronouns are always translated to mean ‘We revealed’ or ‘We have revealed’, which may not affect some plain sentences like "??????? ?????????? ????? ?????????" that we are studying in the verse 2:23 but practice of taking objective pronoun as a subjective pronoun in the translation of all verses of the Quran definitely changes the actual statement of the Quran and gives total false meaning of some Quranic speeches in their translation. Therefore, an unbiased translator of the Quran plays very carefully within the grammatical rules and correctly translate the verses of the Quran without affecting the actual statement of the Quran keeping in view the context and grammatical formations of all other words, compounds, phrases, prepositions and particles coming in the statements (verses) to be translated. Just lining up the meaning of Quranic words in a row without following their grammatical formation and without looking at their context cannot produce the correct translation of any single verse of the Quran. Unfortunately, most of the so called scholars, translators and those who convey the message of the Quran to others usually pick up the meaning of Quranic words from here and there, line them up according to their own sense of pick and choose, and convey the wrong message by producing false translation of the Quran.

Preposition "?????" (ala) is coming next to mean: to, towards, at, in, upon, onto, across. The next phrase "?????????" (ábdina) is a compound of noun "??????" (ábd) and suffix "???" (na), in which "??????" (ábd) means compliant, submissive, obedient, dutiful, duteous, abiding, devotee, faithful; loyal, follower and suffix "???" (na) is a first person plural possessive pronoun to mean ‘Our’. Hence, "?????????" (ábdina) correctly means our compliant, our submissive, our obedient, our dutiful, our duteous, our abiding, our devotee, our faithful; our loyal and our follower.

Therefore, the opening clause of the verse 2:23 "?????? ??????? ??? ?????? ??????? ?????????? ????? ?????????" correctly means "And that has been in doubt of what Ourself revealed onto Our obedient”, " And that has been in denial of what Ourself revealed onto Our follower”, "And that has been in dispute of what Ourself revealed onto Our compliant”.

The next clause of verse 2:23 "????????? ????????? ???? ?????????" (Fátou bisuratimmin mithlihi) begins with the phrase "?????????" (Fátou) in which prefixed particle "??" (Fá) is taken to mean ‘so’, ‘then’, ‘indeed’, ‘in fact’’ and "???????" (átou) is an imperative or command verb to mean ‘ensue’, ‘follow’, ‘proceed’, ‘go down’, ‘enter’, ‘engage’, ‘emerge’, ‘come up’, ‘turn out’ ‘derive’, ‘befall’, ‘occur’, ‘turn up’, ‘issue’, ‘flow’, ‘begin’, ‘start’, ‘happen’, rise’, ‘originate’, ‘come to light’, ‘commence’, ‘come down’, ‘go down’, ‘fall out’, persuade a right, direct, straight, or even course in going.

The next phrase "?????????" (bi surahtin) is a combination of prefixed preposition "??" (bi) meaning to ‘with’, ‘within’, ‘along with’ and a single out noun "??????" (surah) which is falsely translated throughout the Quran and derived from a fake root word "???" (Sen – Wao - Ra) to invent the false meaning of Quranic word "??????" (surah).

In the translation of the Quran the word "??????" (surah) is translated to mean ‘CHAPTER’ but in Arabic language the word "?????" (al Fasl) is used to mean ‘chapter’, which denotes division, segregation, and separation. The Arabic word "???" (baab) is also used to mean ‘chapter’ in books of Arabic literature including the Quran.

No alt text provided for this image

The word "??????" (surah) was never used in Arabic language to mean ‘chapter’ of any book but to modify the understanding of Arabic Quran and to hide the actual message of the Quran a terminology of ‘chapter’ was invented only for the Quran and made it viral so that people memorise the false meaning of Quranic word "??????" (surah). Arabic dictionaries are also contaminated with the aforementioned forgery in which Arabic word "??????" (surah) is given to mean ‘chapter of the Quran’. Why "??????" (surah) means ‘chapter of the Quran???

If, "??????" (surah) means ‘chapter’ it should be used to mean ‘chapter’ of any book not only the chapters of the Quran alone.

Some scholars of forward block declared that "??????" (surah) means a ‘WALL’ but if you look at the Arabs they don’t use "??????" (surah) to mean ‘WALL’ and instead of using "??????" (surah) they use "????" (hayet) to mean ‘wall’ and in Arabic the word "????" (Jdar) is also used to mean wall.

On page 1464 of pdf book 1 of Lanes Arabic lexicon Edward William Lane reveals that Arabic word "????" (sur) means ‘upon the upper’ or ‘upper most parts of the wall’ of the city or town, which is ‘eminence’ or means of acquiring eminence, ‘nobility’, ‘rise’, ‘elevation’, ‘distinction’, ‘renown’, ‘leap’, ‘climb’ and spring upon something.

Hence, from the ‘upper portion’ or ‘the most upper part of the wall’ our scholars of forward bock took "??????" (surah) to mean just a “wall” but Quranic word "??????" (surah) was something ‘upon the upper’, ‘the most upper’ or something ‘highly exalted’, ‘nobility’, ‘honour’, ‘dignity’, ‘height’, ‘glory’ and ‘superiority’, ’renown’, ‘eminence’, ‘elevation’.

Just imagine if you’re walking on top of a wall like a thick wall of a castles or a fortress it will also lead you to the destination or guide you wherever it goes. In other words if you walk on top of a wall you cannot chose your own direction except being directed or guided by the wall. Therefore, the upper part of a wall or even the wall itself is also a “guideline” which leads you to its direction, this is actually ‘a path’, ‘a track’, ‘a way’, ‘a run’, ‘a walk’, ‘a channel’, ‘a route’ and ‘a course’.

Therefore, the Quranic word "??????" (surah) is a “guide” or a “guideline”, a “path”, a “way” and a “course” to follow, a ‘writing’ and a ‘ruling’. However, this “guide” or a “guideline” or a “path” or a “way” or a “course” or a ‘writing’ or a ‘ruling’ is not an ordinary guide, not an ordinary guideline, not an ordinary path, not an ordinary way, not an ordinary course, not an ordinary writing and not an ordinary ruling but the most upper, upon the upper, exalted, excellence, high, glorious and noble guide. The most upper, upon the upper, exalted, excellence, high, glorious and noble guideline. The most upper, upon the upper, exalted, excellence, high, glorious and noble path. The most upper, upon the upper, exalted, excellence, high, glorious and noble way. The most upper, upon the upper, exalted, excellence, high, glorious and noble course. The most upper, upon the upper, exalted, excellence, high, glorious and noble writing. The most upper, upon the upper, exalted, excellence, high, glorious and noble ruling.

Hence, the Quranic word "??????" (surah) should be taken to mean a ‘noble guide’, ‘noble guideline’, ‘noble path’, ‘noble way’, ‘noble or honourable course’, ‘glorious writing and ‘a noble ruling’.

On page 1465 of Lanes Lexicon it is mentioned with the reference of Kamoos, Sihah, Mohkam and Ibn Al A?rábi that because Arabic word "????" (sur) means a ‘degree’ of a structure or a wall. Hence its application is seen in the Quran to signify a ‘chapter’ thereof because each of what are thus called forms one ‘degree’ or ‘step’, ‘distinct’ from another or ‘leading’ to another, or from the same word (????) signifying “eminence”.

In other words the above statement also makes it clear that Quranic word "??????" (surah) is not actually a ‘chapter’ but a ‘degree’, ‘step’, ‘distinct’, ‘leading’ and “eminence” which is also confirmed by Kamoos, Sihah, Mohkam and Ibn Al A?rábi.

It means that Quranic word "??????" (surah) is falsely translated to mean “CHAPTER”.

Arabic word "????" (suar) is used to mean mounting, rising or something going on the head or on the top of something. The same Arabic word "????" (suar) is used in Urdu as well in the same meaning of mounting, ascending or climbing on the head or on the top of something, upon something or put something on.

It is mentioned on page 1465 of Lanes Lexicon that Asas, Sihah, Kamoos, Taj Al Aroos, Mohkam and Abu Obayed used Arabic word "????" (suar) for the one who is firm on the back of his horse.

Again the above statement of Lanes Lexicon makes it clear that Asas, Sihah, Kamoos, Taj Al Aroos, Mohkam and Abu Obayed correctly portrayed Arabic word "????" (suar) as an active participle or door of"???" (sur) and they took "???" (sur) to mean climbing on top of something, mounting on top and rising. We know that an active participle or doer is made by inserting an alif between the first and second radicals like "????" (talib) is an active participle or door of "???" (talab) which is made by adding alif after the first radical of "???" (talab). Therefore, all aforementioned linguistic sources took Arabic word "????" (suar) as an active participle of "???" (sur) to mean climber of the horse or who sits on top of the horse. Hence, Quranic word "??????" (surah) is not a “CHAPTER” but a top or the highest position of a path.

According to my in depth research the true etymology of Quranic word "??????" (surah) traces its roots from Classical Syriac word "?????????"? (sūrgā?ā) to mean "LINE" and "WRITING". Hebrew word "?????" (S?n – Yod - Resh) which is used to mean ‘poetry’, ‘hymn’, ‘chant’, ‘lyric’, ‘song’ ‘anthem’ and ‘poem’ revealed in the Hebrew Bible, Genesis 31:27, Exodus 15:1, Numbers 21:17, Deuteronomy 31:19, Deuteronomy 31:19, Deuteronomy 31:21, Deuteronomy 31:22, Deuteronomy 31:30, Deuteronomy 32:44, Judges 5:12, 2 Samuel 22:1, 1 Kings 4:32, 1 Chronicles 6:31, 1 Chronicles 6:32, 1 Chronicles 13:8, 1 Chronicles 15:16, 1 Chronicles 16:42, 1 Chronicles 25:6, 1 Chronicles 25:7, 2 Chronicles 5:13, 2 Chronicles 7:6, 2 Chronicles 23:13, 2 Chronicles 23:18, 2 Chronicles 29:27 and 2 Chronicles 29:28.

The Hebrew word "?????" (S?n – Yod - Resh) mentioned in the above verses of Hebrew scriptures to mean ‘poetry’, ‘hymn’, ‘chant’, ‘lyric’, ‘song’ ‘anthem’ and ‘poem’ also came from the same Classical Syriac word "?????????"? (sūrgā?ā) since Classical Syriac, also known as Aramaic language which was originally spoken by the ancient Middle Eastern people and it was most closely related to Hebrew and Arabic which was developed from Aramaic language. Hence, ‘writing’, ‘line’, ‘poetry’, ‘hymn’, ‘lyric’ and ‘chant’ are literally same and they are coming from the same Semitic root.

However, in the translation of the Quran the Quranic word "??????" (surah) is derived from a fake root word "???" (sur) but the actual root word of Quranic word "??????" (surah) is "???" (Sen – Hamza - Ra) correctly means ‘guideline’, ‘writing’, ‘hymn’, ‘anthem’, ‘course’, ‘path’, ‘track’, ‘route’, ‘channel’, ruling, line, writing.

On page 1464 of Edward William Lane’s Arabic lexicon the Quranic word "???????" (surah) is given under the root word "???" (Sen Hamza Ra). However, Edward William Lane states that "???????" (surah) means ‘A Chapter in the Kurán so called because it is portion (as ‘Asas’ took "???" to mean ‘portion’) or a remainder (as Taj al Aroos took "???" to mean ‘remainder’) or it may be from the signification immediately preceding (with reference to ‘Lisan al Arab’).

So, Edward William Lane, the writer of Lanes Arabic lexicon has given Quranic word "???????" (surah) from its correct root word "???" but he got confused in portraying the correct meaning of "???????" (surah) because of contradictory statements of the so called legendary scholars and their classic books who were twisting the meaning of root word "???" in trying to justify Quranic word "???????" (surah) to mean ‘chapter’.

However, despite so many twists and turns, the Lanes lexicon has confirmed the correct root of Quranic word "???????" (surah) which I did find by conducting an in depth research in Semitic languages after tracing its right etymology.

If you look at the root word "???" in other sources you will find it to mean ‘guideline’, ‘writing’, ‘hymn’, ‘anthem’, ‘course’, ‘path’, ‘track’, ‘way’, ‘route’, ‘channel’. ‘walk’, ‘run’, ‘‘applicable’, ‘effective’, ‘enforceable’, ‘enjoyable’, ‘felicitous’, ‘appropriate’, ‘suitable’, ‘fitting’, ‘right’, ‘proper’, ‘well chosen’, ‘well expressed’, ‘well put’, ‘choice’, ‘material’, ‘germane’,’ to the point’, ‘relevant’, ‘spot on’, ‘fortunate’, ‘advantageous’, ‘good’, ‘favourable’, ‘lucky’, ‘happy’, ‘pleasing’, ‘pleasant’, ‘valid’, ‘operative’, ‘unabolished’, ‘writing’, ‘line’, ‘ruling’.

According to its formation the word "????" (sur) is the product of "???" and we have seen in the above paragraphs that the active participle of "???" (sur), i.e. "????" (suar) is used to mean climbing on top of something, mounting on top rising up, going to the head because "???" (sur) is actually the upper portion of the wall or the most upper part of the wall, upon the upper, glory, the highest position, excellence, honour and dignity. Since, a wall or a fence also known as a lead, guide, a guideline, a path, a track, a way, a channel and "?" (ha) coming at the end of "??????" (surah) makes it a singular feminine. Therefore, taking everything into account whatever we have read in the above research the correct meaning of Quranic word "??????" (surah) are as follows:

A noble guide, an exalted guideline, an honourable path, a dignified way, a rising track, an outstanding course, a gracious route, a high anthem, a superb channel, an excellent hymn, a glorious ruling and a noble writing.

The enemies of the Quran not only changed the meaning of Quranic word "??????" (surah) but also disrespectfully named Quranic Surahs after animals and insects such as cow, cattle, elephant, bees, ants and spider etc.

If they call "????" (Baqar) to their sons by their given names they correctly say "????" (Baqar) means ‘Loin’, ‘Larger’, ‘Who enlarges himself’, ‘Who takes a wide range in science or knowledge’, ‘Wider’, ‘Wide Spreading’, ‘Ample’, ‘Enough’, ‘Sufficient’, ‘Adequate’, ‘More than enough’, ‘Suitable’, ’Satisfactory’, ‘Passable’, ‘Allowable’, ‘Great’, ‘Well Known’, ‘Who have guts’ or ‘Gutsy’, ‘Brave’, ‘Bold’, ‘Plucky, ‘Heroic’, ‘Courageous’, ‘Lionhearted’, ‘’Daring’, ‘Manful’, Spunk ‘Amazing’, ‘Instinctive’, ‘Intuitive’, ‘Passionate, ‘Forceful’ and ‘Zealous’ but the same people take "????" (Baqarah) to mean ‘Cow’ in the Quran !

Whereas, "????" (Baqar) and "????" (Baqarah) are derived from the same root letters "? ? ?" (Ba Qaf Ra) in which "????" (Baqar) is an active participle and "????" (Baqarah) is a singular feminine noun. Therefore, "????" (Baqarah) also means ‘Large’, ‘Wide Spreading’, ‘Ample’, ‘Adequate’, ‘More than enough’, ‘Great’, ’Satisfactory’, ‘Well Known’, ‘Amazing’, ‘Instinctive’, ‘Intuitive’, ‘Passionate, ‘Forceful’ and ‘Zealous’. Hence, "???? ??????" (Surah Al Baqarah) is not ‘a chapter of the cow’ but actually ‘The amazing guideline’, ‘The ample guide’, ‘The great path’, ‘The intuitive ruling’, ‘The large writing’.

Likewise, the word "???????" of "???? ???????" means ‘The gift’, ‘The Bestowal’, ‘The Kindness’, ‘The favour’, ‘The giving’, ‘The benefaction’ and ‘The award’ but in Islamic terminology and in the translations of the Quran it is taken to mean ‘The cattle’!

Coming back to the verse 2:23 of the Quran in which preposition "????" (min) to mean ‘of’ is coming after the phrase "?????????" which we have studied in the above paragraphs. The next phrase "?????????" (mithlihi) is a combination of "??????" (mithl) and its suffix "??" (hi) in which Arabic word "??????" (mithl) correctly means ‘norm’, ‘standard’, 'rule', 'principle', 'formula',’ law’, ‘regulation’, ‘representation’ and ‘idealism’ which refers to literature and philosophy. Whereas, suffix "??" (hi) is a third person singular possessive pronoun to mean ‘its’ which refers to the revelation mentioned in the opening clause.

No alt text provided for this image

Interestingly, the same word "??????" (mithl) of Persian language is used in Persian to mean ‘like’ or ‘similar’ to something or having a ‘similarity’ of something. Our scholars and translators of the Quran used the meaning of Persian word "??????" (mithl) in all translations and produced total misleading and false translation of Quranic verse 2:23.

Hence, they twist the words "????????? ????????? ???? ?????????" of verse 2:23 and falsely translate to mean ‘then produce a Sura like it’ or ‘then bring a chapter like this’.

To produce the above mentioned false translation they ignored and omitted in the translation the preposition "??" (bi) prefixed with the word "???????" (surah) which is written in the Quran as a phrase "?????????" (bi suratin) that clearly means "with surah". Therefore, "????????? ?????????" (fatou bisuratin) does not say "then produce or bring a Surah" but ‘do or follow the action of the command verb ????????? with a Surah’ which is ‘go or proceed with a Surah’.

However, the above translation itself proves wrong when you read plenty of writings similar or like the writing of the Quran such as ‘Azaan’ and ‘supplication or Dua after Azaan’ in which they press Allah to fulfil His promise of resurrecting the Prophet on a praiseworthy place so that he can intercede them on the Day Of Judgment.

Likewise, Dua al Istaftah (???? ?????????) which they read when they clasp their hands and stand (aqamat) in the first rakát of prayer or Namaz this is also not found in the Quran but this is like the writing of the Quran.

"??????????? ?????????? ???????????? ??????????? ??????? ?????????? ??????? ????? ?????? ????????"

Apart from the above you can see the Quran-like writing in so many Daruds (????) and countless Duas (???) of each and every occasion, from eating food to going to toilet and from coming to wife to going to war etc.

When non-Muslims and anti-Quran people look at this Quran-like writing in Hadith and in the above cited Quran like non Quranic literature and read the false translations of the Quran such as ‘then produce a Sura like it’ or ‘then bring a chapter like this’, they laugh at the Quran and tell the whole world that the Quran is fake and its statements are not true.

Only those nonsense and thick scholars are responsible for the defamation of the Quran, who invent lies in the translation of the Quran. When non-Muslims compare the invented lies of our scholars with the ground realities they think as if the Quran is lying

They press lies on the Quran to protect the false beliefs of their fake religion and falsely declare that the Quran is the book of their religion. Whereas, the Quran does not belong to any religion and is totally independent in its statements. Quran and religion are two different things which cannot go together. This is the reason why they invent the false translation of the Quran to keep it going with their false religion.

Anyway, the phrase "?????????" correctly means ‘its norm’, ‘its standard’, ‘its representation’, ‘its regulation’, ‘its rule’, ‘its idealism’ which is knows as literature and philosophy.

In the next phrase "??????????" (wádo’u) prefixed "?" (wao) means ‘and’, whereas "????????" (ado’u) is an imperative or command verb with subject pronoun, correctly means ‘you desire’, ‘you supplicate’, ‘you seek’, ‘you ask’, ‘and you demand’.

The next word "?????????" (shuhadá) is derived from the root of "???" (ShHD) and correctly means ‘Affirmations’, ‘Beliefs’, ‘Notions’, ‘Faiths’, ‘Acceptances’, ‘Acknowledgements’, ‘Assertions’, ‘Declarations’, ‘Statements’, ‘Oaths’, ‘Okays’, ‘Ratifications’, ‘Admissions’, ‘Compliances’, ‘Confessions’, ‘Disclosures’, ‘Accounts’, ‘Answers’, ‘Justifications, ‘Reviews’, ‘Visions’,

Whereas, "???" (kum) is a second person plural pronoun to mean ‘your’ or ‘yourselves’ and preposition "????" (min) is coming to mean ‘of’/from’.

The next word "????" (doun) is falsely translated throughout the Quran to mean ‘instead of’, ‘besides’, ‘other than’, ‘excluding’ and ‘without’ etc. Whereas, Arabic word "????" (doun) is used to mean below, set down, transcribe, transcription, inscribed, recorded, registered, entered, listed, noted, composed, compiled (????), drawn up, minute, extremely small, as in size, amount, extent, or degree, minute, minor, attentive to or concerned with even the smallest details and a minute examination etc.

In literature the word “Minutes” came from Latin phrase “minuta scriptura” and taken to mean “small notes” or just “minuta”. Likewise, Arabic word "????" (doun) is actually used to portray “small” or “minor” and “minutes” which is a “little draft”, “small note”, “small writing”, “small print” or “small inscription”. Therefore, Quranic word "????" (doun) correctly and truly means “minutes” as transcript, inscription, notes and also to mean “small”, “minor” or “under age”.

However, using the word "????" to mean “minutes” as transcript, inscription, writing notes or to mean “small”, “minor” or “under age” depends on the context and grammatical formation of other words coming in the statement (verse of the Quran).

Nevertheless, this Quranic word "????" (doun) is falsely translated throughout the Quran to mean “other than”, “besides” and “instead of” etc. This is because they wanted to bring in the translation of the Quran the old time story of sodomy of people of Lut (???) to declare that homosexuality is not allowed and banned in the Quran following the old time Church and Senegal. Whereas, contrary to orthodox Christian and Jewish belief the Quran confirms in its numerous statements that people of Lut (???) used to have sex with underage, small or minors in which the Quran uses the same word "????" to describe that people of Lut (???) used to have sex with minors which was made strictly forbidden in the Quran. But to hide the Quranic statements in which paedophilic behaviour was made forbidden our paedophile scholars and their disciples, who used to engage in sexual acts with children, purposely changed the meaning of Quranic word "????" and sneakily diverted the Quranic statements of the people of Lut (???) towards sodomy and homosexuality in the same way as Biblical scholars changed the translations of the Bible to put a ban on homosexuality but they left the options of paedophilic behaviour and sex with minors. Furthermore, to protect the false hadith of ‘Child Bride’, it was also necessary for our scholars to hide the Quranic statements which are against paedophilic activity and having sex with minors.

However, because of the false translation of the Quran the whole world thinks that being a paedophile and having sex with children is permitted in Islam, this is really shameful.

Despite, doing their best to use the false meaning of Quranic word "????" (doun) everywhere in the translation but there are some verses of the Quran in which they could not fit the same word "????" to mean “other than”, “besides” and “instead of”.

In the Quranic verse 18:90 they translate "????????" (duni ha) to mean ‘against it’. Likewise, in the verse 19:17 they translate "?????????" (duni him) to mean ‘from them’, and in the verse 31:43 they translate "????????" (duni na) to mean ‘Us’. Nobody ever pondered upon their infidelity nor did anyone questioned them as to how "?????????" (duni him) of verse 19:17 can be translated to mean ‘from them’, how can they translate "?????????" (duni him) of verse 34:41 to mean ‘not them’, and how can they translate "????????" (duni na) to mean ‘Us’ in the verse 31:43???

Hence, the phrase "???? ????? ??????" (min duonillahi) of the verse 2:23 correctly means "from Allah’s minutes", "from Allah’s transcripts", "from Allah’s inscriptions ", "from Allah’s notes ", "from Allah’s writings", "from Allah’s manuscripts".

The words "?????????? ???????????? ???? ????? ??????" of Quranic verse 2:23 are also falsely translated to mean "and call your helpers besides Allah", "and call your witness beside Allah", "and call your witnesses, apart from God", "and call all your supporters, besides God", "and call upon your own witnesses against GOD" etc.

It seems either total thick people translated the Quran or the actual statements of the Quran purposely distorted and invented complete falsification in the translation to mislead people. I am surprised as to how the native Arabs and Arabic scholars don’t know what is "????????????", whereas a layman knows that "????????????" (shuhadaákum) is ‘your oaths or imaans, ‘your beliefs’, ‘your affirmations’, ‘your oath of admittances’ and ‘your oath of acceptances’.

Therefore, the words "?????????? ???????????? ???? ????? ??????" (wadou shuhadaákum min dounillah) actually means ‘And seek, and claim, and demand and desire your faiths, your beliefs, your affirmations, your Imaans from Allah’s words, from Allah’s manuscripts, from Allah’s inscriptions, from Allah’s transcripts. In other words you cannot have your imaan, you cannot have your faith, you cannot have your belief and you cannot have your dogma on anything which is not written in the books of God. It means only those are believers who believe and accept only what is written in the inscriptions of God. In fact the Quranic phrase "????????????" (shuhadaákum) actually talks about our affirmation, our faith, our belief or our Imaan but the evil clergy purposely hide the actual message of verse 2:23 of the Quran and invented idle talk in the translation to make us believe and to have our imaan on the forbidden rituals of their false religion.

The next phrase "???? ????????" (in kintum) has been already explained in the beginning of this article, it correctly means ‘that have been’.

The last phrase of the verse 2:23 "??????????" means ‘reliable’, ‘validate’, ‘authentic’, ‘verified’, ‘legalized’, ‘attested’, ‘certified’, ‘sincere’, ‘familiar’, ‘friendly’, ‘genuine’, ‘endorsed’, ‘be on close terms with’, ‘have someone as a friend’, ‘be a friend of’ ‘make friends with’; ‘associate with’, ‘befriend’ ???) "??????" :- "??????) ‘Keep company with’, ‘Be an associate of’, ‘be a companion of’; ‘be a comrade of’; ‘consort with’, ‘based on facts’ (?????????? ??????), ‘factual’, ‘realistic’, ‘speaking the truth’, ‘faithful’, ‘truthful’, ‘loyalty for someone’, ‘trustworthy’, ‘honest’, ‘wholehearted’, ‘straight’, ‘bona fide’, ‘true’, ‘real’, ‘valid’, ‘confirmed’, ‘turn out to be true’, ‘definite’, ‘established’, ‘be right’, ‘righteousness’.

Hence, the words "???? ???????? ??????????" (in kuntum sadiqeen) do not say ‘if you are truthful’ as invented in the translations but these words are used for Allah’s revelations, Allah’s inscriptions and Allah’s words that they have been certified.

Word for word correct translation of verse 2:23 is as follows.

Bonjour mister Khan, ?a faisait longtemps j'espère que vous allez bien. Encore un travail trés sérieux et d'une qualité excellente. Je ne vais pas vous embêter en vous demandant de retraduire un verset parce qu'à force je pense que cela doit vous ennuyer. Je voulais juste vous notifier que ????? dans 9:31 est faussement traduit par "au lieu de", mais grace à votre article j'ai pu trouver le vrai sens de ce mot. Encore un grand merci, qu'Allah vous protège.

Salam Dr Kashif. I decided to develop the content of my Worldview Shift write-up further, particularly on the brainwashing of religious doctrine on Consciousness, Fractal Geometry, environmental pollution from textile waste (related to hijab, praying mats and veils) and children’s brain development from Asian parents’ habit of later bedtimes and room-sharing. I’m up to 15,000 over words and there’s a lot more to go. I had a brief chat with my sister’s Indonesian maid (who’s an elderly in her 50s) earlier and casually asked her if she’s aware whatever she recites in Quran. This conversation sprouted from her advising me to say ‘Bismillah’ upon turning up the gas on the stove to gain blessings from God and so that I won’t have trouble lighting the burner. We Muslims have all been indoctrinated by this superstitious religious evil dogma Islam and I’ve had it. So I asked her more questions like if she ever wondered why Muslims can’t advance as those in the developed world. And why majority of Muslims don’t bother to learn Arabic but simply recite the Quran aimlessly. Her response was that it doesn’t matter if we believers are poor but as long as we have ‘iman steadfastly’ in our hearts and let all abundance go to those in the
