The operation of crawler excavators includes rotation, walking, large and small arm operation, excavation, lifting, telescopic arm, turntable, loading and other operations.

Rotation operation: The excavator's rotation mechanism includes a turntable, a large rotating gear ring, a rotating drive shaft, a rotating reducer and other parts. When receiving a rotation command, the travel motor will drive the travel gear ring, and the excavator will be driven to walk through the meshing of the travel gear ring and the gear box. At the same time, the rotating body also has the function of turning around, effectively covering the crawler with the track plate to reduce track wear.

Walking operation: When receiving a walking command, the travel motor will drive the travel gear ring, and the excavator will be driven to walk through the meshing of the travel gear ring and the gear box.

Large and small arm operation: The operation of the large and small arms is realized by hydraulic cylinders. After receiving the operation command, the piston rods of the large and small arm cylinders will be controlled by the operating hydraulic cylinders, and the large and small arms will be telescoped through telescopes to achieve the actions of digging and rotating.

Excavation operation: The excavation operation is realized by the front working device of the bucket. The working device consists of a dipper arm, a bucket, a rocker arm, a connecting rod and a cross arm. After receiving the excavation command, the dipper arm will be controlled by the oil cylinder to extend and retract the bucket, thereby realizing the excavation action.

Lifting operation: The lifting operation is realized by the hydraulic cylinder. After receiving the lifting command, the piston rod of the lifting hydraulic cylinder will be controlled by the operating hydraulic cylinder, and the lifting arm will be extended and retracted by extension, thereby realizing the lifting action.

Telescopic arm operation: The operation of the telescopic arm is realized by the hydraulic cylinder. After receiving the operation command, the piston rod of the telescopic arm oil cylinder will be controlled by the operating hydraulic cylinder, and the telescopic arm will be extended and retracted by extension, thereby realizing the retraction of one side of the crawler.

Turntable operation: The operation of the turntable is realized by the hydraulic cylinder. After receiving the operation command, the piston rod of the turntable oil cylinder will be controlled by the operating hydraulic cylinder, and the turntable will be rotated by extension, thereby realizing the action of digging and leveling the site.

Loading operation: Loading operation is to load the excavated soil onto the vehicle. After receiving the loading order, the piston rod of the loading cylinder will be controlled by the operating hydraulic cylinder, and the bucket will be extended and retracted through extension to load the soil onto the vehicle.

It should be noted that when performing excavation operations, attention should be paid to the front and rear directions of the crawler to avoid accidents caused by incorrect crawler directions due to improper operation. At the same time, during the operation, excessive excavation should be avoided to avoid damage to equipment or personal injury. In addition, attention should be paid to safe operation to ensure the safety and efficiency of the operation.
