Vermont and Delaware lead Mid Majors on the Rise
Vermont gave Virginia all it could handle last night before succumbing to the Cavaliers in Charlottesville by the final score of 61-55. It was the Catamounts forst loss this season after starting 4-0. Anthony Lamb could carry a strong Catamounts team to the Sweet 16 this season. Delaware is now 6-0 after the Blue Hens defeated St. Francis (PA) last night. Delaware is led by Nate Darling a transfer from UAB who has been light out this season. The Blue Hens could conceivable win the CAA Conference this season as the league is much more wide open than in any of the past several seasons.
Some games to keep an eye on this evening include Elon visiting North Carolina, Cornell at Syracuse - where Syracuse Head Coach Jim Boeheim's kids will face off, and St. Mary's vs. Fresno State which will be played on a neutral court in Sacramento, CA. Enjoy all of the games this evening!
