Verifying Your Linkedin Profile

Follow this step-by-step guide to verify your Linkedin profile using CLEAR, a digital identity platform. Verification adds trust within the LinkedIn community.

Get Started:

• Log into LinkedIn
• Navigate to Profile Verification Settings:
• Go to the 'Me' icon at the top of your LinkedIn homepage.
• Click 'View Profile'.
• Look for the section about identity verification, which might be under security and privacy settings.

Start the Verification Process with CLEAR:

• Click on the verification link or button to initiate the process with CLEAR.
• LinkedIn may redirect you to an external CLEAR landing page.

Connect Your CLEAR ID:

• Follow the prompts to connect your CLEAR digital ID with your LinkedIn profile.
• Authorize CLEAR to share your verified identity with LinkedIn, following the app's instructions.

Complete the Connection:

• Once you've successfully linked your CLEAR ID, LinkedIn will display a verification badge or indication on your profile. It can take up to 10 days for the badge to appear.

I updated mine less than a week ago and the checkmark hasn't been updated yet. :)
