For owner/operator, the biggest advantage is to predict whether the defined process can be mapped as theoretically planned. On that basis, he can produce the end product as efficiently as possible and implement the business case in practice. In order to achieve this, different amounts of effort are used to validate the many intermediate results. In order to achieve this, the many intermediate results are validated with varying degrees of effort. In order to get the fastest and most reliable result possible, it is necessary on a common software platform, to verify the engineering plans (ET = Engineering Technology), to operate the data on a database or cloud (IT = Information Technology) and to validate production against specifications (OT = Operation Technology).

In addition, the product quality is improved by these processes. These factors are particularly important to remain competitive in the market.
