Veo is going to the United Soccer Coaches Convention

January in the world of soccer means the United Soccer Coaches Convention. Thousands of coaches will attend one of the world’s biggest soccer events, and of course, Veo will be present at this year's convention.

After a year spent at home, it’s time to reunite with the soccer community. Veo brings a team from both Denmark and the US, and we can’t wait to finally meet partners, customers, and friends face to face again at this year’s convention in Kansas City.

Meet the team

At this year's convention, there will be employees from the Headquarters in Copenhagen, Denmark, and our office in the United States. We’ve sat down with a few of our colleagues who are going and asked them what they are most excited about at this year's event.

Timi from our Copenhagen office team is especially looking forward to finally meeting our American community face to face for the first time:

“I’m so much looking forward to meeting our overseas customers at the United Soccer Coaches Convention in person for the first time! I’m excited to share knowledge with them, bounce off ideas, and build new relationships.”

She’s also looking forward to gaining better insights into the American market and taking these impressions back to Copenhagen:

“The convention will be a great opportunity to get better insights on how the US market works, and I hope to take this back with me to Copenhagen to be a better Customer Success Manager.”

From our American team, you’ll meet Maria and Lee, among others. Both are looking forward to this year's convention, after a few years of restrictions and lockdowns:

“I am excited to assist at the United Soccer Coaches Convention because it will be a great opportunity to meet coaches from all around the US. I’m happy to be able to connect with people face to face after a few years of not attending conventions due to the pandemic,” Maria says.

Lee, the Veo’s first employee in the US, has previously been to several United Soccer Coaches Conventions due to his job as a coach, but this time it will be a little different. This time, it will be as a Market Manager for Veo:

“After attending the convention as a full-time coach for many years, this will be my first time attending as a market manager for Veo. I'm looking forward to using my experience as a club director and coach to help develop relationships and partnerships with like-minded organizations.”

“Video and video analysis is the future of long-term player development. I hope to show the attendees what Veo can offer not only their players but their entire organization.” Lee says.
