For these applications, we have developed the VENUS True Color (TC) family: seamlessly integrating with architectural elements while elegantly emphasizing their unique forms. Its versatility allows for its use as facade lighting, orientation, or accent lighting without detracting from the architectural beauty of the building.

The new addition to the family is the Optics version, which impresses with its optical excellence. A continuous linear lens avoids unwanted scallop effects, the minimal color over angle ensures a homogeneous color gradient with simultaneous uniformity in luminance for grazing. Especially with the 20° linear optics installed, it can provide a wonderfully subtle grazing effect when softer lighting and shadows are necessary. These attributes ensure a dedication to minimizing light pollution while prioritizing the comfort and general well-being of users.

• VENUS TC Optics embeds an advanced flexible linear lens. This guarantees continuous and uniform light distribution. The optics prevent unwanted scallop effects, often seen with traditional TIR lenses. ?
• Thanks to the uniquely linear lens technology and a Color over Angle of <65 K, VENUS TC Optics enables precise control of light distribution while also maximizing lumen output for clear and uniform grazing light applications up to 7 meters in height. ?
• With an IP67 protection rating and high-quality polyurethane encapsulation, VENUS TC is resistant to UV radiation, saltwater, solvents, and airborne pollutants. This makes the luminaire a reliable option for demanding outdoor environments,?like e.g. in urban installations. ?
• VENUS TC has evolved to offer endless light lines with virtually invisible transitions between luminaires. This ensures completely homogeneous light emission over long distances. The shopping center "El Saler" in Valencia, Spain, is a marvel of organic architecture that harmoniously blends with the surrounding urban landscape. Situated opposite the City of Arts and Sciences and the Oceanographic Center, it resides in the area with the greatest social and cultural influence in Valencia. Spanning over 47,000 square meters, the El Saler shopping center offers a wide selection of clothing, accessories, food, leisure activities, and more. El Saler serves as a hub for families, providing a pleasant atmosphere year-round.

The outdoor area of the shopping center also invites visitors to linger. With seating adapted to the organic shapes of the lawn area and spectacular water features, the shopping experience becomes something truly special for the entire family. The lighting solution, realized with the VENUS TC family, seamlessly adapts to the natural and flowing structure, accentuating its magnificent design.

Facade Lighting, Galeries Lafayette, Marseille, France

The facade of Galeries Lafayette Centre Bourse in Marseille, a masterpiece of an architectural artist, is enhanced by the delicate lighting of LED Linear and VENUS TC. The three characteristic LED light lines emphasize the graceful and continuous movement along the edges of the outer waves.

The exceptional facade not only adorns the building but also creates a sheltered area for visitors from rain and sun. Moreover, the fully glazed facade serves a dual ecological purpose: it allows natural light into the building and acts as a filter for optimized thermal quality inside the building. The architectural concept behind it: the undulating design of the facade symbolizes the Mediterranean, establishing a connection to the location of Marseille.

Orientation Lighting, Hotel Intercontinental, Yokohama, Japan

A new era of luxury was ushered in with the opening of InterContinental Yokohama Pier 8 in October 2019. Guests indulge in uninterrupted harbor views from nautically inspired rooms and suites. Japanese gardens seamlessly merge with vibrant restaurants and bars, making this place an urban oasis in bustling Yokohama.

The new cruise terminal serves as the centerpiece and becomes an interactive experience for guests. Its waterfront location provides views of incoming cruise ships, contributing to a distinct sense of place. The luxury hotel boasts a total of 133 generously sized rooms. To captivate the audience immediately,?LED Linear? integrated VENUS TC into the impressive and curved staircase that gently guides guests to their luxurious stay at the hotel.

Accent Lighting, Peel Plaza, Amsterdam, Netherlands

Peel Plaza is a sculpture and simultaneously a publicly accessible urban terrace consisting of a wooden deck whose parts appear to be peeled. The decking, which also incorporates existing trees, includes six benches and tables. The peeled parts – called peels – on which one can sit or lie, form a vibrant and spatial gesture on Weesperplein, evoking the idea of an oasis in the city.

VENUS True Color was installed to highlight the complex and winding contours of the design and provide visitors with a unique and inviting urban experience. With its slim design, the luminaire perfectly complements the contours of the urban furniture. Thus, visitors are provided with an inviting space with comfortable seating even during dusk or in the evening.

In its entirety, Peel Plaza forms an artwork that invites physical interaction. The fusion of functionality, sculptural forms, trees, and green spaces creates a unique and inviting place that stretches along Weesperplein. A public square enlivened by its users, who come to rest or spend a moment together.
