Catalyzing the Future of Michigan-Affiliated Energy and Mobility Startups

Applications are open for the Ascend Energy & Mobility Accelerator, powered by VentureWell, TechTown Detroit, and the U.S. Department of Energy’s EPIC Prize. Now in its second year, the program offers seed-stage startups eight weeks of rigorous training and one-on-one mentorship from experts with extensive experience partnering with and investing in energy and mobility companies. The Ascend Energy & Mobility Accelerator will conclude with an in-person workshop in Detroit, Michigan, at TechTown Detroit on October 23 and 24. Over 200 People Have Registered To Attend the 13th Annual Deshpande Symposium

Sneak Peek at the Engineering Innovation Leadership Council National Workshop Agenda

With the kick-off of the Engineering Innovation Leadership Council (EILC) National Workshop fast approaching, we are excited to share a glimpse of what’s planned for June 12. Undergraduate Students Can Win Up to $20K in Prizes for Their Biomedical Solutions?

There is about one week left for undergraduate teams to apply for the Design by Biomedical Undergraduate Teams (DEBUT) Challenge, from the National Institute of Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering (NIBIB) and VentureWell. A prize pool of $160,000 is available for innovative solutions to unmet health and clinical problems. Applicants should demonstrate a mastery of analytical and design skills and capabilities; the ability to manage the product development process; the ability to work effectively in teams; and technical communication skills. The deadline to apply is May 31. Share this opportunity with your students and colleagues!
