Less Than Two Weeks Left Until Aspire Medtech Applications Close
We are fast approaching the deadline for Aspire Medtech on September 3. Remind the medtech startup founders in your network to review our application guidelines and FAQ page for support as they complete their submission materials. Selected Aspire companies will receive customized investor-engagement training and work closely with a dedicated team of investor-mentors to gain deep understanding of due diligence. By the end of the program, these companies will build out their deal room materials and develop a viable fundraising plan. We look forward to welcoming the next cohort of promising companies developing innovations with the potential to positively impact the healthcare industry.

ARPA-H Launches POSEIDON Program To Help Move Cancer Moonshot Forward
What if a simple test could save millions of lives by catching cancer early? As part of the Biden Cancer Moonshot, ARPA-H’s Platform Optimizing SynBio for Early Intervention and Detection in Oncology (POSEIDON) program will invest in new technologies to develop cancer screenings that accurately detect a number of cancers, even at home. POSEIDON aims to fundamentally change the field of cancer screening by developing first-in-class, over-the-counter, multi-cancer early detection (MCED) tests that screen for 30+ cancers at Stage 1. POSEIDON intends to develop non-invasive synthetic sensors and reporters to reliably detect cancer from breath or urine samples at home. Interested in learning more about this new ARPA-H funding opportunity? Register by Tuesday, August 27, at 12:00 p.m. ET to attend POSEIDON’s in-person Proposers’ Day on Wednesday, September 4, in Baltimore, Maryland.
