Newsletter #01 | Ventilation and drive technology news
Today, we are once again bringing you exciting topics involving ebm-papst. Air quality plays an important role: in Gerald Eve's London office, employees are breathing in RESET-certified air and an air conditioning system in Dubai is retrofitted with new fans and a demand-based control system. In two articles, you will find out more about the robust FanDrive DV280 for particularly large fans. There is a new season of the "What The Tech?!" videos in our online magazine.
Good-quality air for 5 o'clock teatime
The health and wellbeing of employees is of decisive importance for British real estate consultancy firm Gerald Eve. That's why there are now sensors in its new office in the London West End for measuring air quality, which is now RESET-certified. Now everyone is breathing in good-quality air throughout the entire working day.
Sky-high savings
Four old AHUs had to be replaced in a high-rise building in Dubai. The installation conditions and speed meant that a retrofit with FanGrid was the only suitable solution. Thanks to the RadiPac fans with EC technology and a demand-based control system, the energy consumption for the same air flow has been halved from almost 31 to 16.5 kW.

Big performance for big fans
Large fans do not need to consume huge amounts of electricity – at least not when they are driven by the FanDrive DV280. With its 24 kilowatts of electrical power, the EC external rotor motor delivers air flows of up to 100,000 m3/h.
