Venquis in 2015; the place to be.

In 2015 Venquis has continued its fast growth trajectory towards being the worlds#1 business transformation recruiter.

This year we welcomed 18 new people to the team (as headcount reached 40 in Europe), opened a new office in Munich, successfully launched our Public Sector and Management Consultancy teams, were recognised by our peers at the Recruitment International awards as the Rising Star of the recruitment industry, launched a dedicated coaching academy and above all had lots of fun. This includes a high performers trip to the Munich Oktoberfest, every single employee going to Barcelona, a lot of table football matches and plenty of trips to the local bars and restaurants to celebrate our successes. Everyone at Venquis has worked incredibly hard this year and deserve their break!

Financially we are in great shape with turnover surpassing £15 million, gross sales of £3.3m and profit of 20%.  There is an overwhelming feeling at Venquis that the platform for spectacular growth is firmly in place.

Overall the recruitment market feels in good shape with an ongoing shortage of talent globally (and particularly in our markets in the UK and Germany) and a reasonable economic backdrop. Our clients in different sectors face various challenges, in particular embracing the digital revolution, cyber security and the ongoing regulatory frameworks. We have been privileged to work with some great people and organisations this year (including winning some exciting new clients) and I'd like to thank you for your continued support.

I'm confident that 2016 will be our best year ever as we continue to grow across business sectors and geographically. In 2015 Venquis we met over 5000 clients and candidates (and got through over 70 pairs of shoes). Next year I'm sure the number will grow as there is no shortage of organisational change and transformation going on and a growing need for our services. Timpsons are rubbing their hands in glee!
