The poem, "Venid, venid pastorcillos, ha nacido un ni?o" originally in Spanish, is by Chilean poet Gustavo Gac-Artigas, translations into English and French by Priscilla Gac-Artigas. (Also published in TodoLiteratura)
?
cuál es el precio del silencio
se pregunta la humanidad avergonzada
?
venid?
venid pastorcillos
se escucha un villancico
?
Come, Come Little Shepherds, a Child is Born
How many drops of blood per square meter conquered
will the new territory cost,
they wonder in Israel
doing the math.
?
How much blood do we have left,
the children in Gaza wonder,
without having a square meter, they can call their own.
?
What is the price of silence,
wonders ashamed humanity.
?
“Come, come little shepherds”,
a Christmas carol is heard.

?
?
quel est le prix du silence,
se demande
l’humanité honteuse
?
??venez, venez petits bergers??,
