Venice airport chooses REair for environmental sanitation
The revolutionary anti-Coronavirus patent integrates the security measures adopted by the airport.
Venice Marco Polo airport, managed by the Save Group, chooses REair to sanitize some terminal areas, further implementing measures to protect travelers' and operators' health in the current Coronavirus emergency.
REair is a treatment designed to guarantee hygiene and safety in living and working environments, making use of a network of certified applicators with high professionalism, a revolutionary patented and unique product. Its molecules allow sanitizing numerous surfaces performing a bacteriostatic, fungistatic and anti-pollution action with high performance (obviously integrated with traditional sanitation procedures).
Being a transparent coating, completely odorless, colorless and solvent-free, for this reason it is the only product currently on the market that can be used on glass surfaces without altering its visibility, this allows you to treat delicate areas such as the fingers that connect the terminals to the aircraft and windowed gates, all highly trafficked areas and therefore subject to a very high bacterial concentration. The patented REair technology's effectiveness can also already count an important precedent in the transport sector: in August 2020 it was adopted for the safety of the Port of Bari area, Italy.
REair is a product:
- 100% natural: free of chemical additives, compared to traditional sanitation methods, REair is able to ensure a sanitizing process on a physical basis, perfectly environmentally friendly as certified by the Green Guard Gold Certification, the most important US certification issued by UL in terms of safety and low chemical emissions (Gold Standard for Chemical Emissions for Building Materials, Finishes and Furnishings).
- Validated: its effectiveness is proven by scientific experiments in collaboration with the most prestigious Italian universities (La Sapienza University of Rome, Milan Bicocca University, Galeazzi IRCCS Institute of Milan, University of Turin) and important International medical and biological research institutes, with excellent results in the abatement of polluting microorganisms, bacterial and viral load. In addition, the test recently performed by Eurofins Biolab Biopharma Group has demonstrated the virucidal efficacy of REair technology against Coronavirus (virus SARS-related: SARS-Cov, SARS-Cov-2). REair then commissioned the same international Group to carry out a Risk assessment on its technology, which guarantees the product's safety towards operators and end-users.
- Long-lasting: it has long-lasting efficacy levels, ensuring a continuous sanitizing activity that can last several months, depending on the areas and surfaces treated. The best guarantee of the quality of the treatments is also represented by the proven REair procedures, certified ISO 9001, which provide, in addition to the application of the product, also the constant monitoring of the results obtained over time, the healthiness of the environments and the safety of the treated surfaces.
"For five years, REair has been studying the new technology originally and innovatively, in collaboration with qualified Italian universities and with important medical and biological research institutes. The areas of application of this activity are different: from homes to offices, from production sites to the tertiary sector up to the school and healthcare sectors. We can only be proud of the trust that SAVE has placed in us and that REair has been able to make its contribution to safety in an important sector so profoundly affected by the health emergency as that of transport "- says Dr. Raffaella Moro, CEO and founder of REair - "In a delicate moment like that of the Coronavirus emergency, a goal that we propose is to support our customers in the prevention and protection of their work environments. It is essential to empower companies in carrying out checks and hygiene measures on surfaces and in keeping them monitored over time within certain values, rather than imposing continuous sanitizing methods without verification procedures ".
The REair formula consists of a latest-generation photocatalytic solution: its photosensitive molecules, once hit by light (natural or artificial), come into contact with the air's humidity, accelerate the decomposition of harmful organic substances present in the environment. Thanks to its sanitizing action, REair technology reduces the charge up to 99.999%.
“In addition to the sanitation methods in use, REair can ensure a sanitizing process on a physical basis. The titanium dioxide-based molecules used are photosensitive, break down pollutants and sanitize the environment through photocatalysis. This safe nanotechnology can radically change the tools for fighting viruses and bacteria. The REair product can offer added value by acting not only on surfaces but on air quality in confined spaces "- explains Prof. Angelo Del Favero, director with responsibility for research and development at REair, former director of the Institute Superior of Health and currently a lecturer at the Luiss Business School and at other prestigious universities - “The methods that use chemicals are effective, but involve a daily application with a considerable expenditure of costs and human resources as well as interference with work. REair, on the other hand, acts in a lasting way with a capacity for continuous sanitation overtime, drastically reducing subsequent treatments and constant monitoring by the REair teams in the months following the treatment. "
"Since the beginning of the emergency, our Group's commitment to the safety of passengers and operators has been expressed in the adoption of complementary measures, methods and products that make the Venice airport and those managed by us become environments safe "- says Monica Scarpa, CEO of the SAVE Group -" In this context, new technologies are a great support for our work and in this context, for the sanitization of specific areas of the terminal, we have chosen to adopt the innovative method patented by REair which is based on photocatalytic technology ".
Many institutional subjects have already chosen REair technology: the first to make use of it the prestigious Gonzaga School of Milan and private companies and production branches. Furthermore, the activity carried out in the healthcare, hospital, and nursing home sectors and finally in many other tertiary sectors (tourism, hotel, retail fashion and design services) remains significant.
