Veni, Vidi, Ministravi!
Enye Team

Veni, Vidi, Ministravi!

31st December 2021 marks my last day at Enye. Taking up the role as Country Coordinator at Enye felt natural after my pitch to Uche on 7th February 2020, about the boundless opportunities for nonprofits on the African continent. After warm-hearted conversations, I joined the team to help leverage Enye’s platform to impact the ecosystem directly and equip super early-stage founders. To get more insight into my journey at Enye, read my conversation with Ama Udofa in August where I expounded on my journey into the role and enjoyed helping to build a rockstar team—an experience for which I will forever be thankful.

Building out exciting partnerships that benefit early-stage founders is one of the highlights of my 2021. From pivoting the model of our social impact, to upskilling and matching skilled mid-level engineers with idea-stage founders for free, building tech-enabled versions of traditional businesses irrespective of the founder’s funding history.?

Another major impact over my duration with Enye is the focus on job placements of over 200 engineers in better-paying jobs across over 50+ local and international early-stage startups.?

I also helped channel auxiliary programs (hackathons and demo-days) to foster relationships and give talents a platform to collaborate and hack out features, contributions and product verticals leveraging the infrastructure of partners and sponsors like StartupPlug, Mono, Seamfix, Ingressive For Good, FCMB, Founder Institute, CodeLn, et cetera.

I am incredibly grateful to Enye co-founders (Manny, Michael, and Uche) the core team (Ama Udofa, Chika Obiwuru, and Adeola Azeez) that hold it all together, the volunteers, donors and most importantly, the dreamers and founders—the reason we do all these in the first place.?

I believe our work has helped spark light a fire, helped nurture the dreams of builders and fuelled the passion of many others through our initiatives. This I have seen to be true informal evaluations and anecdotal engagements with impacted founders.?

I remain as committed to the mission of supporting and contributing to the scale of the African technology ecosystem as much as I can. The race continues without ceasing in other capacities.

For God and? the ecosystem,?
