Vendors Supporting MRI Education
Barbara Nugent
Provides MRI safety education and training events. Collaborating globally to develop resources and innovations to enhance the MRI service for patients and healthcare workers.
Running events to ensure that delegates receive a quality programme with world class presenters in excellent venues is achievable through collaboration with industry. To highlight the importance of vendors' support and to thank them, I’m asking each vendor for their story. Today it’s the turn of AGITO Medical.
MRI Safety Matters? is delighted to welcome AGITO Medical as a Silver Sponsor of Emanuel Kanal ’s MRI Safety Training Course in London this year. So, what is your story?
AGITO Medical was founded in Denmark in 2004 and swiftly expanded to have operations in Spain, France, Germany, and the Netherlands as well as the UK. The initial focus was on providing trade-in solutions for healthcare providers that wanted to replace outdated equipment. As the company grew, it was acquired by Philips in 2018, which provided the capital for the next stage in AGITO’s journey – investing in the latest imaging equipment to rent or lease to healthcare providers across Europe. From just a few units we have since grown to a fleet count around 60. This has resulted in more than 380 rental projects in 15 countries so far.
Thank you and why do AGITO Medical wish to exhibit at this MRI Safety Matters? event in June?

These events create a real buzz in the industry. We are able to reach up to 200 delegates, in person. One of the services we provide is mobile imaging rental solutions in which hospitals and clinics can rent an MRI, CT, or Cath Lab system for long or short-term rentals. It makes sense for us to be visible to this audience and create brand awareness, since many professionals are still unaware that you are able to rent imaging systems in a trailer or relocatable unit.
What will delegates find when they come to the AGITO stand? ?They will be able to get more in depth information about our Imaging rental solutions and how these flexible rentals can benefit the hospital, clients, and patients. We will be bringing a small show-case rental unit to the stand and also 3D virtual glasses, so that the attendees can take a tour inside one of our units.
That all sounds very interesting and we look forward to meeting you all, and having a look through those 3-D glasses??.
