Veit & Company - Rogers MN

I spent 3 days with Veit & Company in tropical Rogers Minnesota (I saw -9 temperatures). They have one of the most creative building fronts I have seen in a while. Very creative and really sets the tone when you walk into their beautiful office. They have been using HeavyBid for many years but now wanted to improve the integration with HeavyJob and their accounting system to not only get better data back from the field but to make it easier and faster to export to budgets. So that is why I was there. We covered a lot of ground with surprises on both sides as we made discoveries. Of course we got Insights working so now they can see HeavyJob production data live in HeavyBid and search across estimates for biditems and activities. What made this particular training unique is that I not only have HeavyBid users in the room but the IT and accounting departments were represented as well and they hung in there the entire time! If there is any one key factor in keeping a construction company successful is that all departments work together with common objectives and Veit nails it. And even with 3 days of my time they still are going to attend this coming UGM in January with meetings planned with HCSS as well as just taking in all UGM has to offer. It was a fun filled (but chilly) 3 days.
