Vegas Baby!

I go way back with the city of bright lights in the desert. Between InfoComm, other tradeshows, and covering Las Vegas as my sales territory back in the day, I have accumulated a lot of time in Las Vegas. If you’ve flown into Las Vegas McCarran/Harry Reid International Airport, you might have noticed that passengers will often applaud as their flight lands. In my experience, this is unique. I believe they feel the energy of possibility, which has sparked an idea in writing this today.

Lightware continues to grow at an astonishing rate (thank you!). Now, as one of our next steps, we are opening a Discovery Center in Las Vegas. We will be able to welcome students for in-person training to augment our extensive online efforts. We can help to create strong, personal relationships and host our partners and customers for memorable experiences. Our history in the live events, rental and staging markets concentrated in Las Vegas also makes this a natural fit.

We have fantastic customers and partners in the Las Vegas area. We have the opportunity to showcase those success stories and help folks understand why our technology is so powerful and unique. We can highlight how it is being used in XR-type technologies that represent the future of the integrated systems and collaboration markets.

Users can experience the sights, sounds and even smells that allow them to be transported thousands of miles in a single afternoon. Additionally, Worre Studios (www.worrestudios.com) has created a high-resolution immersive LED studio. Their studio can host thousands of concurrent unified collaboration sessions, a reality engine graphic environment, and sophisticated camera equipment that enables a meeting with thousands of live guests in a natural amphitheater, like Red Rocks, or any other environment you can imagine.

We are looking for new colleagues to help us staff our office and support our continuing growth and evolution.
