Vegan Industry Insights

Welcome to the November edition of Vegan Industry Insights by the Vegan Trademark. We’ve had a fantastic World Vegan Month this year – celebrating all the success in the vegan industry as well as what our own charity have achieved since they were first founded in November 1944. We showcased some small businesses that are leading the way in the vegan industry – showing off their Vegan Trademark certification while doing so – spoke to long-time Vegan Society members about their journeys with veganism, and relaunched the Vegan and Thriving campaign.

The Vegan Society’s Vegan and Thriving campaign is challenging the stereotypes around veganism, specifically in relation to masculinity. A series of short videos have been released, showcasing stories from several incredible vegan men from different professions, backgrounds and walks of life, who share how veganism forms an important part of their identity and relates to their masculinity.?

Follow #VeganAndThriving and #BuiltForKindness to stay up to date with the latest content and developments. Share our fantastic new videos with your friends and family, and why not post your own Vegan and Thriving story? Let the world know what Vegan and Thriving means to you.

The team had a fantastic time at Nordic Organic in Malm? earlier this month. We exhibited alongside many of our Vegan Trademark holders and had the opportunity to judge on the panel for the best new plant-based product.

We are also happy to announce our new partner event – Veg Net. Veg Net is a networking event for the plant-based food sector that brings brands and buyers together. As industry experts, we will be there on 5 June 2024, available to answer your questions about vegan products, and the value of third-party certification. We’ll be joining some of our Vegan Trademark holders: One Planet Pizza and Crack’d. Register to attend here: https://active-net.org/veg-net/
