VEA Telecoms Delivers Rapid Restoration of Fibre Network

A real testament to our dedication occurred when disaster struck a live network serving over 150,000 clients in Manchester. Two 144-fibre cables and one 288-fibre cables were cut by a 3rd party, resulting in the loss of hundreds of active clients. Without wasting a moment, our maintenance team sprung into action.

We swiftly located the damaged sections and began the process of restoration. Mobilising a floating team, we prepared two new joints to expedite the restoration of services. This achievement was made possible through meticulous preparation, teamwork, and our relentless dedication to our customers.

Safety measures were strictly enforced in the work area to ensure the security of our personnel and pedestrians. Even adverse weather conditions, such as pouring rain, did not deter our team from their mission.
