VDW announces the Jewellery Selection 2022 finalists: who are the chosen ones?

On our very first article on LinkedIn for 2022, January the 31st, Venice Design Week presented the 9th VDW Jewelry Selection's challenge and call for action.

Surrealism and the famous?Paul Eluard?poem, “?Le Miroir d'un Moment?/ A Moment’s Mirror” were the references for the competitors. Find the link here below if you missed our presentation.

Jewelry Selection 2022 is part of the events held during Venice Design Week and will show surrealist jewels, which, through materials, colours, shapes, aim to hold moments in time and turn them into a precious artworks.

The winners will be announced at the Awards Ceremony in autumn during Venice Design Week, where the partner galleries Ohmyblue in Venice, OONA in Berlin, Creativity Objects in Turin, Esh Gallery in Milan and 16metriquadri in Udine will offer special prizes.

The exhibition will be open to the public at the Ca 'Pisani Decò Design Hotel from 1st to 23rd October. The event's created by the Venice Art and Design Association in collaboration with the promoters of the international competition: Associazione del Gioiello Contemporaneo AGC, the online magazine GioielloContemporaneo.it, the OhMyBlue Gallery, and OONA Gallery.

Today, at the end of June, after receiving a record in numbers of international participants, 100 projects from 84 countries, we are happy to officialise the names of the finalists that compete now to win the 9th edition of our international competition.
