Homecoming Update:
THANK YOU!
I didn’t win King but I personally think I won in other ways! This experience was like none other and although I am extroverted, stepping out of my comfort zone for this process was something totally new. The past few weeks have been busy but worth it. I was so proud to represent VCU at such a high level! I could not be more grateful and humbled by the support, love, and appreciation I’ve received last week.
Special Shoutout to these people who deserve all the love I got. Follow their pages!
- My amazing backup dancers who spent two weeks practicing and choreographing: Jonny, Davis, Jazmine, Vivian, Aaron, Sarah, Anna
- Sarah Mekonnen took my official Homecoming pictures which I used for my flyers and profile (Check out her other work and book her - https://www.sweetmvmnt.com)
- Jay-Dee Samonte created my dope Homecoming video (Follow his Youtube -https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCmD6PyOCieuh18Yq-7IzIpw?app=desktop)
- Adam Goodman - My Resident painted my amazing portrait on the Commons window!
- Dat Le created my Reign of the Rams pageant mix (Listen to his mixes here - https://soundcloud.com/ewtonballs/tracks)
- Katrina Navasca the great graphic designer who helped with my flyer.
- VCU School of Business Faculty and Staff for their support and help!
- To all of Homecoming Court & APB for making this a fun week.
- To my parents, Curtis, Simon and everyone else who drove up or down for the Reign of the Rams Pageant!
- To everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, who shared the HC Video! We had the most likes with 350 likes, 77 shares, and 4.5K Views!
Last but not least my residents, fellow RAs, FACT@VCU, and BSA for their endless support!!
I graduate in May 2019 so look out for my next moves as I go toward post-graduation. ??
Much Love,
-Aaron
