VCA successfully certified ambulance stretchers according as well as the other medical equipment to the DIN EN 1789.

From 2007, VCA cooperates with a number of industrial partners producing medical equipment as heart attack chairs, ambulance stretchers, oxygen container holders, occupant seats etc. VCA preparing virtual models on the base of non-linear variant of the FE method under fast dynamic ranges. These models are often loaded with inertia forces of occupant models under a deceleration pulse define in international standards as EN 1789, ECE-14, ECE-17, ECE-80, for instance. We alternatively use standard dummy models (Hybrid III 50%, 5% or 95%, EuroSID, US-SID ... etc.) or a Virthuman model which is a scalable model of human bodies. A Virthuman's methodology goal based on the European human type database, allows generate hundreds different variants of human bodies models respecting hight, weight, age and sex. Fast mathematics algorithm implemented in FE PAM Crash/Safe explicit code can easily use even more than 100 Virthuman models in one computing model.

Such methodology also allows to evaluate passive safety criteria for huge number of passengers travelling in buses, trams, trains or even airplanes in case of various traffic accidents types.

On the base of successful fulfilment of requiremets or other demands or criteria defined in international standards, VCA prepares technical reports accepted by a number of autorized persons as SGS TüV Saar, TüV SüD or DEKRA which can issue final certificates for tested products.
