DEAL OF THE WEEK: COMMAND ZERO

Command Zero, an Austin, TX-based provider of an autonomous and user-led cyber investigation platform, raised $21 million in a Seed funding round led by Andreessen Horowitz with participation from Insight Partners and over 60 cyber industry leaders.

Stealth Mode' gets thrown around in the startup world a lot ... but what does it actually mean?

This week, Command Zero emerged from 3 years of stealth with $21M in funding from a16z, Insight, and cybersecurity angel investors to address the bottleneck in L2/L3 security ops and escalations.

I asked their CEO, Dov Yoran, about what 'Stealth Mode' meant to them ... and more importantly, why they took that approach.
