High performance vat dye with bright red powder, Suitable for dyeing and printing cotton. Can be used for silk and viscose coloring. Vat?red?29?is?red powder. It is insoluble in water, ethanol and acetone, but soluble in xylene and tetralin. It is red in concentrated sulfuric acid and then turns to green.?In dilute sulfuric acid, it is red. In nitric acid, it is red. It is yellow in alkaline solution of sodium hydroxide. Colorness in acidic solution.?
