The "Vase" Painting - A new Artwork of Hidden Secrets

My new piece, "Vorsicht stark!" (in English "Careful! It's Strong!"), tells a unique story. Unlike the usual "Handle with Care!", this artwork puts a vase at the center, filled with intricate details and hidden messages.

?? The Meaning Behind

It is brand new and I did exhibit it two weeks ago for the first time. I did not put an explanatory plaque next to it. Because it's fascinating to explore your own associations before knowing the title and background. Many visitors spontaneously saw things I hadn’t consciously placed: corals in the sleeve, peace signs in the pattern, ghosts, numbers, breasts ... ??

At the left bottom, there is a part created with the japanese Kintsugi technique. As this philosophy believes that broken parts are even more beautiful than before and stand for our expierences, it is just a wonderful and very grateful approach.

? Your perspective brings this artwork to life

This artwork comes into full impact by what you see and what you transfer into your current situation. You see a smiling women, so you feel at the moment? Or is she more stern to you? Rather confident? It does tell something about you.

?? An Incredible Success

The artwork was sold on the very first night of the exhibition – and the feedback was overwhelming. The demand for prints and canvas reproductions was immense.

People feel touched and reminded of their strengths and experiences. Awesome.

This is why I make art. To create something of meaning and impact.

?? Exclusive Prints

Due to that feedback, "Vorsicht stark!" should be available to more people than just one.

Therefore, I have created an exclusive edition of a few canvas prints in 80 x 60 cm plus frame and to which I added the original Kintsugi gold as well as the finish on the vase. It really looks like the original. Further, there is a limited paper print edition in 50 x 40 cm in my shop.
