Variety Christmas Appeal

For many families, Christmas brings excitement and gifts under the Christmas tree. For some, though, it is a stressful and expensive time – made even more challenging by the current economic environment and the increased cost of living.

Our Auckland team of Santa’s little helpers went on a shopping spree to find presents for kids aged up to 10 years old. These gifts include toys, games, books, colouring-in books, and arts and crafts - all items to bring joy to kids on Christmas morning.

We then had a wrapping session before the Variety team collected the gifts to pass on to deserving families in our local communities. We’re delighted to know these gifts will make a huge difference to Kiwi kids on Christmas morning.

The Variety Christmas Appeal helps take the pressure off some families with gifts and food. While many of us are planning our ham, BBQ, steamed pudding and pavlova, many families are worried about the financial pressure of a Christmas dinner. Variety is hoping to help these families with its Christmas Appeal.

For a $50 donation, you can provide a Christmas dinner for one child and their family.
