VARC Leadership Travels to Washington D.C. to Discuss Legislation Impacting Their Clients with Varied Abilities

Left to right: Liz Filter, Lisa Davidson, and Kate McSweeney

This week, our very own fearless leader Liz Filter (President | CEO) traveled to Washington D.C. on behalf of VARC's clients with disabilities. Meeting with Lisa Davidson (CEO of DSPN) and Kate McSweeny (CEO of ACCSES), Liz is learning from national leaders in disability services on innovative service practices, and on pending legislation that impacts VARC's clients.

VARC would also like to recognize Lisa Davidson's newest role in the realm of disability resources. "I'm proud to join in congratulating Wisconsin’s Lisa Davidson, CEO of DSPN, who was elected as a board member of ACCSES, the national disability provider association," says Liz.?We have the utmost confidence in Lisa's abilities to serve, and look forward to all the good she does for those with varying abilities in our state.

On Wednesday, we also put VARC and our clients on the map in Senator Tammy Baldwin's Washington D.C. federal office. It was a pleasure to visit and talk with Senator Baldwin's staff.
