Vanzar's Voyage - Navigating the Corporate Cosmos

In the dark corners of the distant Andromeda galaxy, there existed a planet with life on it - Galaxior. Future Focused Technologies Inc. was one of the biggest conglomerates in this planet. It aimed to utilized Galaxior’s natural resources in the most judicious manner, unlike one distant planet they knew, named Earth.?

FFT Inc. was the major provider of Traxan (the source of energy for Galaxiorans) to every Galaxior household.?

Vanzar Ularix worked in the Nebula 5 department of FFT Inc. and was one of the best employees the mammoth conglomerate had. She was a 500 years old (25 Earth Years) , young and dynamic female who joined the firm just after completing her Masters in Nebulan Technology. Vanzar had many hopes and dreams in her eyes. She was the first in her family to be working for such a big company like FFT Inc. and the entire Ularix family was proud of her.

But not all was well with Vanzar. Atleast, that is what Vanzar’s mother felt. When Vanzar came home for the holidays, she seemed paler than usual. No amount of Cosmic Cookies, or Andromeda Ambrosia (Galaxioran delicacies) could cheer her up. She stayed in her Capsule all day and came out only when she was out of Traxan. Vanzar’s father disregarded this as “day-to-day pressures of office” but her mother was skeptical. She asked Vanzar to extend her stay but Vanzar had to go. Her work-from-home was over.

At FFT Inc., work seemed never ending and priorities forever changing. Vanzar found it difficult to cope with that. All she was craved was clear instructions. However, she would get her tasks from different directions and had to chase time to complete those tasks. The hours in her Dorxs (Days) were not enough to complete the tasks. She felt hopeless because she didn’t have anyone she could talk to. As an introvert, she did not have a lot of friends and the one friend she had in FFT was assigned to a different project. Vanzar felt hopeless. She wondered if those humans on earth also faced the same issues??

“Why don’t we go and check?”, Ornon smiled cheekily. Ornon was Vanzar’s boyfriend. Her childhood sweetheart, Ornon had the tendency to diffuse tense situations with crazy solutions.

Vanzar rolled her third eye in dismay. “ You mean, we will go to Earth at the risk of getting caught and put in Area-51 to be experimented upon just to do a well-being pulse check on humans? Are you even listening to yourself?”

Ornon said calmly, “What’s the harm in it?”

It is still not sure whether it was Ornon’s sheer audacity or something else brewing up in Vanzar’s mind that they decided to finally take out their new spaceship, the Wega Voyager for a spin.?

“It would be a nice weekend getaway, wouldn’t it?” Said Ornon, already dreaming of having some quality time with Vanzar.

“Hmm.. hmmm..” Vanzar said absent mindedly while scouring the internet for LinkedIn. These earthlings used a social media platform called LinkedIn to connect with like-minded professionals, Vanzar knew. She wanted to connect with someone who was passionate about mental well-being, worked in a corporate organization, was as introverted as she was, and a female. I think she wanted to also have a heart-to-heart chat with a woman.?

All things considered, my name popped up and Vanzar decided to pay me a visit.
