Vantage Point
For IMSA fans at the racetrack, the thrill of experiencing the sights and sounds of wheel-to-wheel racing is unparalleled. The accessibility of unique viewing spots adds an extra layer of excitement. Some might argue that few places on the racing calendar provide a better vantage point and sense of community than sitting on Spectator Hill at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta while watching prototypes and GT sports cars thunder down through the esses. This is especially true during the twilight hours of @MOTUL Petit Le Mans when the fading sun casts its beams across the track, illuminating the cars and drivers. It's a place that genuinely ignites the senses and leaves you wanting more!
?A track carved into the Georgia landscape delivers a 12-turn, 2.54-mile, undulating road course that has tested the best drivers and entertained fans since 1970. The tradition continued as the IMSA - International Motor Sports Association 2024 season concluded with the 10-hour Petit Le Mans at Road Atlanta in October. This race has become part of our history and a symbol of our endurance. It was a banner year for IMSA, with 11 of the 12 races attracting a record number of spectators.
?I am incredibly proud of everyone involved and that we celebrated with all our 2024 winners at the WeatherTech Night of Champions Banquet. I am equally excited that IMSA fans from around the world, along with those who gathered on the hill and at many other legendary vantage points throughout the season, have been able to participate.
?Our media and technology teams' continued innovations have delivered integrated viewing experiences across phones, tablets, computers, broadcasts, and streaming channels for fans who cannot attend the track in person. We have enjoyed incredible online growth, including international audiences, reaching fans wherever they may be.
Endurance sports car races lasting 24, 12, 10, and 6 hours present unique opportunities and creative challenges for maintaining interest. I'm thrilled to see the growing number of viewers and the increasing creativity of the media teams that provide compelling real-time content to engage and entertain our fans, whether at the track or watching remotely.
Equally, we are evolving our content beyond race weekend; our fans can seek out compelling stories from behind the scenes, including the pit wall, inside paddock garages, and teams' home bases. These stories bring our fans closer to their favorite brands, offer a glimpse into their heroes' lives, and help educate them about the strategies and tactics involved in competing at the highest level of endurance sports car racing.

2 个月I’ve followed IMSA Racing for decades. It’s unfortunate that only the GT cars now race at Lime Rock. Talk about viewing opportunities! The greatest thing about IMSA is the access to the entire track and paddock areas. My day at the track consists of doing my laps around the track and through the paddock.
