Vantage Data Center Staff Update: Christophe Strauven

Christophe Strauven has been appointed as the chief financial officer for North America at Vantage Data Centers, a global provider of hyperscale data center campuses. The company's global capital-raising strategy was previously developed and implemented by Mr. Strauven, a former senior vice president of capital markets, through financial risk management and debt financing.

Christophe Strauven, who took over from Dave Renner as CFO, North America, will oversee the accounting, tax, finance, and financial planning and analysis departments in both the US and Canada.

Rich Cosgray takes Strauven's place as senior vice president of capital markets. Cosgray joins the Vantage team with over 16 years of TMT banking and finance experience. He formerly held the positions of managing director and head of TMT leveraged finance at Truist Securities before joining the business. Cosgray completed over $100 billion in debt financing during his time at Truist, specializing in financing digital infrastructure across data centers, fiber networks, broadband providers, and towers. He reports to Sharif Metwalli, the worldwide CFO for Vantage, and is headquartered in the company's corporate headquarters in Denver.

"Christophe is a perfect choice to be our next CFO of North America because of his over 30 years of demonstrated experience creating and implementing growth strategies and negotiating challenging investment possibilities. “As we enter 2025 poised for phenomenal growth, I am excited to work alongside Christophe in his new role to continue driving value for our North America business,” Metwalli said. I'm happy to have Rich join our team as well. He has a proven track record of accomplishment and will play a key role in spearheading our global capital markets initiative.

Additionally, I want to sincerely thank Dave for all of his contributions to the business. Since joining Vantage in 2014, Dave has played a key role in expanding our company from a regional operator of data centers to one of the top worldwide providers today. He has held a number of positions, including chief administrative officer and CFO for North America. We wish Dave a happy retirement and appreciate his enduring influence.
