VANGOGO Teams Up with Buddy Dyer Campaign for Electrifying Celebration.

Orlando/Detroit-based rock band VANGOGO is proud to announce a collaboration with Buddy Dyer Campaign and his election team to create and release an exhilarating song in celebration of his upcoming re-election and 6th term in office. The song, titled "Fix It," features VANGOGO, legendary guitarist Mike Skill of the classic rock band The Romantics (known for hits like "What I Like About You" and "Talking in Your Sleep"), and Mayor Buddy Dyer himself. Both Skill and VANGOGO recorded the track at the renowned Pearl Sound Studios in Canton, Michigan, under the guidance of producer Chuck Alkazian .

VANGOGO is composed of Nathan Mackinder (Vocals/Guitar), Jason Schaller (Lead Guitar/Backing Vocals), Paxton Olney (Bass), and Jonah Brockman (Drums/Backing Vocals/Keys). The collaboration originated when Schaller attended a fundraising event for Mayor Dyer's re-election campaign. During a conversation, Mayor Dyer discovered that Schaller was the guitarist for VANGOGO and asked, "Why don't you write me a song for my re-election?" The rest is now history.

Formed in 2008, VANGOGO, which includes members from other well-known Michigan bands, reconnected in 2020 during the pandemic. Since then, they have recorded and released a self-titled album, launched four radio singles ("Both of Us," "Big Mistake," "Watch it Burn," "Get Up to You"), and achieved international success with over 5,000,000 streams and critical acclaim. VANGOGO is set to release their latest single, a modern interpretation of the Eddie Murphy cult classic "Party All The Time," on November 10th, just in time for their upcoming Orlando Show on November 11th at The West End Trading Co. in Sanford, Florida.

To celebrate Mayor Dyer's anticipated victory, VANGOGO plans to release two versions of "Fix It" at midnight on November 7th: one by the Mayor himself and the other by VANGOGO. It's going to be a night filled with music and jubilation!

The November 11th concert kicks off with doors opening at 7 pm, followed by a performance by the Orlando-based band Kings County at 8 pm sharp. VANGOGO will take the stage next, delivering a high-energy rock 'n' roll show that will keep the audience entertained well into the night.
