Van Tour...GO WEST!

What a whirlwind! The Great Canadian Van Tour has been on the move over the last few weeks without an update by me keeping everyone up to speed. The tour spent two great weeks in the Greater Toronto Area before heading up through Central and Northern Ontario and now into the Prairies.

There was a great day spent with the team at Audcomp seen above. Great weather, food, music and games plus plenty of time to interact with the team.

As we left T-Dot (#toronto) and head north, the big driving begins as we moved into week number 6 of the Tech Tour with stops in Bracebridge,?Sault Ste Marie and Thunder Bay (ON).

We have had the pleasure of connecting with so many people, old and new friends to date. As a result our newest Tech Tour motto is “building powerful connections one KM at a time”.

We enjoyed?Chris Melanson?from?Millenium Micro?Group. As we race across Canada this week we have had stops in cottage country and edge of Lake Superior, really makes you realize how different the landscape can be within a 60 minute drive.

The only thing that is not different are the warm welcomes we receive when we roll into town and we cannot thank everyone enough for kind support.

We visited with two?MicroAge Canada?locations in Northern/Central Ontario, Monday with MicroAge Bracebridge and Tuesday we were with MicroAge Sault Ste. Marie, with tons of good food and interesting stories of living in different parts of Canada.

As we said good bye to Ontario for a few weeks, we made it out with seeing 4x moose, 2x black bears and 1x bald eagle plus countless of breath taking photos along the road.

Fun fact, did you know Ontario has two times zones?

Last week we moved into the heart beat of Canada with stops in Winnipeg, Regina and flying back for the TD Synnex Sales conference last Friday. So much fun was had with SYNNEX that we decided it only makes sense to see the folks from?TD SYNNEX?Canada again on this tour.

We are happy to announce that Transistor the Van will be guest at the TD SYNNEX Summit Roadshow in Vancouver on July 21 2022 - 5pm PDT at the River Rock Casino Resort, hope to see you there!

WINNIPEG - One of the highlights of the tour so far has to be the great few days spent with partners like Insight in Winnipeg.

Timing worked out and Insight leader John Dathan was once again able to join the group on the tour.

The tour then hosted a vendor fair at the Royal Aviation Museum of Western Canada. What a success! We had the chance to catch-up with over 65 folks from the Manitoba IT landscape as well as see an amazing museum.

We also did some one on one interviews with?TechnoPlanet (Publisher of eChannelNEWS), so please stay tuned for those a well!

REGINA - Rain, rain go away... well it actually it did just in time for everyone to join us for lunch.?We had a Mexican feast and a grand re-opening of?MicroAge Regina, what an amazing group of folks, so happy we stopped by for lunch.?

Coming Soon! After a great week in Manitoba and Saskatchewan, we decided to go back to Saskatchewan in early August when we head back east to Montréal. Yes you heard correctly, after we get to Vancouver we turn around and drive back east to where this tour began with many stops all along way, today we are at 6,000KM of 15,000KM!!?
