In case you're wondering if vampires are still popular years after the Twilight craze, I can say that the answer is still a definite yes. In my opinion, they are evergreen.
Why do I say this? Because I'm seeing so many vampire books perform way above others, including my own (on both sides there).
We just released our third book in the Reclaiming Honor series, JUDGMENT HAS FALLEN. It's about a hardcore vampire (but a genetically engineered one, so not your typical True Blood style vampire) who kicks butt and doles out Justice. Basically a Batman or John Wick vampire, who is female. What's not to love there, right?
Within a day we had almost 1,000 sales and 50k page reads, reaching #197 overall on Amazon and #1 in vampires (#2 in paranormal, but the #1 slot book was 9 in overall, so yeah, that's tough to beat!).
You can also check out the Audiobook we just released for book 1, and it's amazing. Likewise, reviewers are loving it and the fact that it's about vampires surely helps!
Check out the series on Amazon - you'll love it :)
Check out the Audiobook sample of book 1, Justice is Calling, performed by the amazing Kate Rudd:
