Values Day #2

Last Friday saw the C4S Search team celebrate their second values day of the year. A day focused around Our Company Values, Our Mission Statement/Our Why and Our C4S Standard. The day has been designed around each Value to emphasise the importance of each Value and what it means.

The morning kicked off with 'LIVE IT. BREATHE IT.' "Commit to being a success" This session was designed and delivered by our IT Manager aka Big Daddy and was all about organising your desk to be successful. We treated the team to orange diaries to match their orange pens, bottles & mugs we gave out last Values Day.

We kicked the afternoon off with 'GROW GREAT.' "Proud of the past, focused on the present, prepared for the future" This session was focused on personal development and driving C4S forward - just like the meaning of this value. We have recently invested in a new internal system and want to ensure our consultants are using it to its full potential - being trained on creating talent pools and getting the most out of the system as we can.

The team got treated to lots of Pizza and nibbles for lunch... mmmmmm

We designed a Team Building Exercise for the divisions to compete against each other for our 'AVERAGE SUCKS' Value, my favourite value. Who wants to be average? "The harder you work the luckier you get." The division teams went head to head in an 'Apprentice' Themed task to created something for their clients. The teams were responsible for selecting which member was - Project Manager, Designer/Creator, Market intelligence Analyst and the Presenter. The Engineering Team had came out on top and was chosen by our Leaders Team for the winners and awarded a voucher for a lunch treat of a Domino's Pizza Delivery.

We finished the day off with an early finish, a few drinks and a game of bowling for our last Value of the day 'ENJOY IT'(Probably most of the teams favourite value) We headed off for some nibbles and a few beers and cocktails and then off to the bowling alley. We had a clear winner who took the title by a mile ... Well Done Alex for smashing everyone at Bowling with 130 Points!!
