*Weekly Shiz Nit: I wanted to share a quick story on how I found my worth with you as it has nothing to do with any of these great tips. It was right after the death of my son. I had my shop online and I didn't want to shut it down nor could I keep it going business as usual with such a devastating loss. So, we raised all the prices in my shop some items by as much as $1,000 so no one would buy anything and my shop would still be open. It would be temporary and it really was the only thing I thought of to do. It was just me and my daughter and I needed to bury and grieve my son. A week later I got a sale. The neck piece that was $330 just one week ago, now sold for $1,330. This kept happening and I never ever lowered my prices after that. Take from it what you will but that is exactly how I found my value.
