Have you ever felt like there's more to you? Like a spark waiting to ignite? That's exactly how I felt, before I did something very brave – ?‘Professional Acting Class”! Sometimes back
As a marketing professional, my journey has always been filled with countless interactions, Brand P&L, analyzing consumer behavior & Insights, Striving for brand and business success. Yet, amidst all the achievements and accolades, I felt a void within me—a lack of that certain spark, that chutzpah that sets one apart. I was always surrounded by smiles, numbers, and a thriving business, yet something felt missing. It was a nagging sense that my personality lacked a certain...oomph factor.
Then, one day, an acting class (Roshan Taneja School of Acting – Same school of Aamir khan, Ranbir Kapoor and likes & might’s of them) advertisement caught my eye. It was a nudge from the universe, a chance encounter that flipped the script on my life.
Now, you might think, "Acting class? But I'm a marketing professional, not a performer!" Exactly! That's the beauty of this story. And so, fuelled by a thirst for constant learning and self-improvement, I took the plunge into the world of acting (btw there is no biz like show biz). This unconventional path, though met with initial doubt from friends & colleagues (who admittedly laughed, raised eyebrows and utter disbelief with this concept!), became my springboard to a whole new me.
The journey was far from easy. Acting demanded vulnerability, courage, and the willingness to step outside my comfort zone. I stumbled through scenes, struggled with dialogue delivery, and grappled with portraying characters diametrically opposed to my own persona. Yet, with perseverance and dedication, I began to notice profound changes taking root within me.
?Confidence surged through my veins, emboldening me to assert myself and articulate my thoughts with clarity and conviction. Effective communication became second nature, as I learned to speak not just with words, but with intention and purpose. I honed my listening skills aka active listening, truly hearing others' perspectives (see the world from all possible view – this one of the interesting concept I have learnt on my endeavour to understand philosophical view of Jainism) and fostering meaningful connections.
Role-play became a powerful tool for self-discovery, challenging me to embrace facets of my personality previously unexplored. And through it all, I learned perhaps the most valuable lesson of all— the power of imagination. To step into another's shoes, to inhabit a different reality, requires a boundless imagination—one that extends far beyond the stage.

Today, as I reflect on my journey of learning acting and now trained actor, I am filled with gratitude for the lessons learned and the growth achieved. Acting may not have been my intended career path (though hey, if opportunity knocks…), but its impact on my personal and professional life is undeniable.
To anyone hesitant to embark on a similar journey, I say this—embrace the unknown, for therein lies the opportunity for transformation. Shed the layers of inhibition, and step into the spotlight of your own life's stage. And remember, we are all actors in the grand production of life, each playing our part with passion and purpose. Btw, I have strong point of view, that acting should be learn by corporate professionals but must training for marketer.
So, if you feel stuck in a rut, yearning to break free, take a leap of faith! Explore that unconventional path, that hidden passion. You might surprise yourself with the strength, confidence, and magic you discover within.
This is your chance to rewrite your story. Take a bow, you magnificent star!
