The value of self-reflection: How to learn from your experiences and grow into a better human being.

“Been there done that” is the phrase we hear every now but have we thought about the deeper meaning hidden in the phrase? The other day, I caught myself looking in the mirror to see whether my appearance was all right, if my gloss was flawless if my waist appeared snatched, and if my earrings were not mismatched. But why do we humans feel the need to constantly examine how clean and lovely our materialistic exterior is? because that is what everyone first notices and is impressed by.

But are we not neglecting what's inside, which is more significant, in our continual desire to check to see if we appear okay in the mirror? Self-reflection is not like a surface pond; diving into it will reveal that it is a deep ocean that every person must dive into. In this modern-day society, we always remember to connect our mobiles with our earphones, but we usually forget to connect our minds, body, and soul. Self-reflection is not the same as performing numerous Youtube videos or engaging in prolonged meditation. It's more like becoming aware of who you are, controlling your turbulent, self-destructive inner demons, and transforming them into gentle, innocent creatures.

I am aware of how tedious it is to watch these motivational videos that explain how to reflect on oneself. But in the end, self-reflection is a deal one makes with oneself. Also, it is stated in bold to appreciate and accept who you are beyond what you see in the mirror. You will also have a lot of unforgettable events on this chaotic journey of self-reflection, some good, some bad, and some awful. A cruise-like life, however, must continue sailing no matter what; one may lower the anchor and stop for a while, but doing so increases the likelihood that the cruise will never start again.?

Let's look inside our heads to see what we like and what we don't, and then go beyond that to consider why. Additionally, it includes the experience we get from responding to that question. And as you begin the reflection process, you'll see that all of your insecurities were only mental illusions which never really existed.?
