Value People Over Position
Dr. Joey Faucette
I coach HR leaders to go from overwhelmed, overworked policy cops and form jockeys to positive work culture influencers and architects who grow people and profits.
The Work Positive Blog
I spoke and coached at a conference for an association of business owners about how to create a Work Positive culture.
?One guy seemed particularly interested. He owns numerous businesses, from a local community paper to a cleaning business. He’s truly an entrepreneur.
?The first night we met was over dinner with the Board of Directors of this association. His phone blew up during the meal.
?As the weekend went on, we spent some time together and the conversation turned to family.
?The longer he talked, the more apparent it became that he wanted to enjoy them more, but had created an unmanageable schedule. Our conversation turned to how to enjoy more time doing what he loved with those he loved; to lead his companies instead of managing them.
?Here are the 3 Ways we talked about to do more of what you love with those you love:
?How clear are the performance standards at work?
?Hard to hit a moving, unfocused target, right?
?It takes guts, smarts, and love to clarify culture KPIs.
?That’s why Dr. Joey Faucette collaborated with Joe Sacchetti to create the Small Hinges Swing Big Doors course. Joe shares his field experience with Dr. Joey in the second module to create relationships based on clear performance standards.
?And if after 90-days of discovery you’re still fuzzy about your culture KPIs, you get all of your investment back. No questions asked. Guaranteed.
?Clarify performance standards and create your positive work culture today at 51% off the usual rate.

?At the intersection of your core values, priorities and purpose is your unique contribution.
Think of your unique contribution as your work fingerprint. That something you do that when people see or experience it, they say, “Hey (insert your name here) did that!”
It’s your answer when someone asks, “What do you do?”

The Work Positive Podcast
Do your teams find purpose and motivation that moves them beyond just showing up for a job every day?
?Just in case they—and you—don’t, Dr. Joey’s guest on this episode of the Work Positive podcast can help. Michael Gilpin and his wife along with his parents intentionally started a business with a purposeful, motivating culture.
?He calls this culture, We Before Me.
?Michael is a Fast Signs franchisee in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Think of this episode as a field report on how to create a positive work culture and wildly succeed. Listen and discover ways to:
???value team members more than their output and foster a supportive culture.
???align new hires with company values for better retention.
???engage and develop employees through feedback.
