The Value of Partnership Teams
Yesterday we met with a great leadership team from one of our largest partners in the United States. The purpose of the meeting was to review, evaluate and update strategies that they’ve developed over the past several years to enhance the overall Member experience at the roadside. In addition to the partners team, we assembled a team from our company to work with them to find ways to further enhance the Member experience. The teams have been focusing on ensuring that the strategies are the right ones, that they are being properly implemented and tracked to achieve the desired results.
When teams work together as partners toward common goals that achieve outstanding results, you know that you’ve established a partnership where mutual trust and respect are at the foundation. You’ve got to work to understand the wants, needs and desires of those you work with to maximize the value of strategic partnerships. Be sure that you listen to what your partner is saying. If you don’t clearly understand what is critical to their success, how can you expect to achieve the goals that they have established? And if they don’t find success, neither can you.
To ensure that your company finds success you must assemble a team that is fully engaged, that are thought leaders in your company, that has the highest level of integrity, that accepts accountability for achieving the goals that are set and that has tremendous passion for their job and what they bring to the overall team. Accomplish that and you can expect great success.
