The Value of Meditation and Nature

The Value of Meditation and Nature

Each moment is newly created from infinite possibilities.

The free will underpinning each moment demonstrates a very small part of the potential and possibilities within the life force that flows indistinguishably* in, through, and around us.

However, what often draws our attention is the inertia of what has been experienced and learned in life, personally and collectively. This is a powerful inertia that reflects the energetic footprint of the history of humanity, and is reinforced by our own experiences. This collective consciousness provides the basis and continuity for how we experience our human lives. Part of the intrigue and excitement of experiencing life in a body is riding this wave of inertial energy. Yet, there is something more powerful than the waves of energy riding on the surface of our lives.

There is something that is more powerful than the temporary waves on the surface of the ocean. It is the ocean itself. There is something more powerful, and has more potential, than the collective consciousness of humanity and your life experiences. It the essence and truth of who you are. It is the collective consciousness of the Universe Itself.

The potential to create and experience life differently, the potential of the Universe Itself, is within you. It always has been and will always be. The question is how to begin to break down the powerful inertia of what you have come to know life as. It may seem overwhelming. However, remembering your potential and the possibilities of what life offers is part of the journey you have chosen.

How can you tap into this infinite potential to experience and create life differently for yourself? How can you open into and rest within the depth of your own essence?

Below the surface of experience, below the energetic chatter of the continually bouncing waves of daily life, there stillness that reflects the profound pure potential that you truly are. Developing a daily practice of meditation and spending quiet time in nature can be helpful in opening into this awareness of what is already so.

As you slow your thoughts in meditation the space in-between begins to broaden. The quiet and peace that is always there becomes more evident. As you slow your being in the presence of nature you become attuned to the balance and abundance that is its essence. The ease and grace that is a reflection of nature's harmony can support you in quieting your thoughts and finding a deep well of peace.

Each of these practices brings awareness that the stillness you seek is already and always within you. In this stillness the inertia of what life is doing all around you begins to fade away. Judgement of life falls away. The meanings you have given to the moments of life begin to dissolve. A deeper meaning of life can be allowed to emerge. The gift and strength of simply being, becomes evident. Pure awareness of the infinite potential of all beings and of life itself is revealed, and the realization of who you truly are comes to life.

These practices can be a source for knowing your own value, knowing your own peace, and simply loving who you are. They can help source your fulfillment and joy in experiencing all of what life is offering, in its depths and on the surface. Then ups and downs and moments in-between, all of them, become gifts. Life itself abundantly pours loving energy in, through, and all around you. This is the source of filling your well, giving from your overflow, and realizing that you are a gift of life that touches every person that crosses your path.

"Wherever you go in the midst of activity, carry your stillness within you. Then the chaotic activity around you will never overshadow your access to the field of pure potentiality.” Deepak Chopra, The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success

Through our own spiritual practices, as well as quantum physics, we can realize that there is no distinguishable boundary where one thing ends and another begins.
