Teaching students about the value of 'Endeavour' allows them to 'Fail Forward'.

So often in life, the temptation is for us to give up at the first or second hurdle, at King's Leadership Academy 'motivation theory' is turned into practice as our students learn to develop 'team grit'.   In a recent assembly students were inspired by the story of Erik Weihenmayer, the first blind man to reach the summit of  Mount Everest.  Afterwards, a student said, "If a someone can climb Mount Everest blind, surly we can all achieve our dreams", I couldn't' have agreed more and smiled as the seed of 'Grit' took root!
