It's great that to understand the value of discernment and modesty in our interactions with people, particularly those who hold less authority. Respecting every individual, irrespective of their position or standing, is an important value that can foster a happy and peaceful workplace. Being intelligent and humble with everyone, including lower-level staff, is important for the following reasons:
1. Promotes a Positive Work Environment: Respecting one another makes the office a happy place to be. This can therefore result in improved teamwork, greater production, and a higher level of job satisfaction.
2. Establishes rapport and trust: When someone treats them with respect, employees are more willing to trust and work with them. Establishing confidence is crucial for productive teamwork and communication.
3. Promotes Honest Communication: People are more willing to freely express their thoughts, worries, and criticism when they are treated with respect. Better problem-solving and communication inside the company may result from this.
4. Boosts Morale: A positive business culture is facilitated by treating all employees with humility and respect, regardless of their status. Employee motivation and morale can both be increased by this positive culture.
5. Encourages Staff Retention: Workers who experience a sense of respect and value are more inclined to stick with a company. Talented people are expensive to hire and train, so keeping them on board benefits the business. High turnover can be expensive.
6. Offers a Good Example: Leaders that exhibit humility and show kindness to all people provide a good example for the entire organization. This conduct has the power to persuade others to take on similar beliefs and ways of acting.
